摘要： An image reading apparatus includes: three line sensors mutually spaced in a sub scanning direction; a platen arranged between the original and the three line sensors; a mover moving the platen relative to the three line sensors at a rate relative to the three line sensors, the rate being different from that of the original relative to the three line sensors; a lightness difference detector extracting a feature pixel having a predetermined feature from each of three data output from the three line sensors; and NOR and AND devices comparing a plurality of data corresponding to a single location on the original to detect the feature pixel extracted from one of the plurality of data, as a noise pixel if the feature pixel is not a feature pixel for the other data and also has at least a predetermined value in saturation.

摘要： An image processing apparatus reducing image noise caused at a device which has a stationary reading portion such as a CCD sensor and reads an image of a document by moving the document is structured as follows: the image processing apparatus determines whether full color image data read by the reading portion is out of a predetermined color space; it uses shift resisters to determine that the image data out of the predetermined color space continues in a sub scanning direction; and thus it detects a line-shaped dirt image caused by dirt or the like at the reading portion, and corrects the dirt image.

摘要： To read an image with high resolution via a CCD linear sensor having a limited pixel count, an image reading apparatus includes: a CCD linear sensor having arranged in a main-scanning direction photoelectric conversion elements for receiving a light reflected from an original; a piezoelectric element for providing a relative displacement between a light receiving surface of the CCD linear sensor and an object's image formed on the light receiving surface, according to a predetermined oscillation function and in the main-scanning direction; and a sensor drive circuit timing the CCD linear sensor's charge accumulation. The sensor drive circuit uses a distance from a center of an amplitude of the relative displacement to the CCD linear sensor and a time period of charge accumulation by the CCD linear sensor to determine a time point to start charge accumulation. The apparatus also includes a signal synthesizing circuit using image signals output from the CCD linear sensor during one period of the predetermined oscillation function to reconstruct an image signal of one line.

摘要： Disclosed is an ion trap mass spectrometer improved to obtain a high sensitivity without the lowering of resolution. By fitting a mesh electrode to an aperture (an ion sampling aperture or an ion extracting aperture) made in endcap electrodes constituting an ion trap mass analysis region, a radio frequency electric field in the mass analysis region is not disturbed even if the diameter of the aperture is set to a large value to heighten ion transmission efficiency. By fitting a shield electrode for preventing collision of ions with an insulated ring constituting an outer wall of the mass analysis region, charging up of the insulated ring is prevented to improve stability of detection signals. Furthermore, by arranging a shield member for shielding stray charged particles detouring through the circumference of the mass analysis region to approach an ion detector, generation of noises based on these stray charged particles is prevented.
