    摘要： There is provided a curable fluoroelastomer composition comprising i. a first compound which comprising repeating units derived from a fluorinated olefin and further comprising at least one functional group, ii. a second compound comprising repeating units selected from (—C4F8O—), (—C2F4O—) or (—CF2O) or a combination thereof and further containing at least one functional group capable of reacting with the at least one functional group of the first compound either directly or in the presence of a curing compound to form a triazine unit, wherein the composition after curing by forming triazine units has a glass transition temperature of less than −60° C. Also provided are shaped articles comprising the cured compositions, methods of making cured compositions and methods for making shaped articles.

    摘要： A water soluble or water dispersible fluorochemical silane represented by the general formula (I): X-MfnMhmMar-G wherein X represents the residue of an initiator or hydrogen; Mf represents units derived from one or more fluorinated monomer; Mh represents units derived from one or more non-fluorinated monomer; Ma represents units having a silyl group; G is a monovalent organic group comprising the residue of a chain transfer agent; n represents a value of 1 to 100; m represents a value of 0 to 100; and r represents a value of 0 to 100; and n+m+r is at least 2; with the proviso that at least one of the following conditions is fulfilled: (a) G contains a silyl group of the formula (III): wherein Y1, Y2 and Y3 each independently represents an alkyl group, an aryl group or a hydrolyzable group and at least one of Y1, Y2 and Y3 represents a hydrolyzable water solubilising group; or (b) r is at least 1 and at least one of Y4, Y5 and Y6 represents a hydrolyzable water solubilizing group.

    摘要： This invention provides a method of treating fibrous substrates, such as leather, by contacting the substrate with a fluorochemical compound comprising: a fluorochemical oligomeric portion comprising an aliphatic backbone with a plurality of pendant fluoroaliphatic groups, each fluoroaliphatic group having a fully fluorinated terminal group and each independently linked to a carbon atom of the aliphatic backbone through an organic linking group; an aliphatic moiety; and a linking group which links the fluorochemical oligomeric portion to the aliphatic moiety. The fluorochemical compounds provide desirable oil, water and stain repellency to fibrous substrates.

    摘要： A process for preparation of a fluorinated sulfinate product by reacting a mixture comprising: (1) water; (2) dehalogenating and sulfinating reagent: and (3) fluoroaliphatic sulfonyl fluoride represented by the formula: Rf—[SO2F]n; and (4) at least one of the material selected from the group consisting of: (i) fluorinated surfactant, or (ii) organic cosolvent comprising, as the major component by weight of the organic solvent, alcohol having a boiling point of less than 110° C. at 760 torr; by heating the reaction mixture to a temperature between about 50° C. and 100° C. until the desired product yield is achieved. Also provided is a process of using the fluorinated sulfinate product as an initiation system for a free radical polymerization process, such as that used to prepare fluoropolymers.

The compositions are useful in preparing polymeric, e.g., polyurethane, foams.
