    摘要: Methods and systems for a more efficient transmission of network traffic are provided. According to one embodiment, a method is provided for performing transport layer protocol segmentation offloading. Multiple buffer descriptors are stored in a system memory of a network device. The buffer descriptors contain information indicative of a starting address of a payload buffer stored in a user memory space of the system memory. The payload buffers contain payload data originated by a user process running on a host processor of the network device. The payload data is retrieved from the payload buffers on behalf of a network processor of the network device without copying the payload data from the user memory space to a kernel memory space of the system memory by performing direct virtual memory addressing of the user memory space. Finally, the payload data is segmented across one or more transport layer protocol packets.

    摘要: In one form of the present invention, there is provided an apparatus for producing a virtual road map of a patient's vascular anatomy for use by a surgeon while conducting a procedure on the patient's vascular anatomy, the apparatus comprising: a virtual 3D model of the patient's anatomy, wherein the virtual 3D model comprises a virtual 3D structure representing bony structure of the patient and a virtual 3D structure representing vascular structure of the patient, with the virtual 3D structure representing bony structure of the patient being in proper registration with the virtual 3D structure representing vascular structure of the patient; a fluoroscope for providing real-time images of the bony structure of the patient and a surgical device being used in the procedure; registration apparatus for placing the virtual 3D model in proper registration with the patient space of the fluoroscope; bone mask subtraction apparatus for (i) generating a bone mask of the bony structure of the patient, and (ii) subtracting the same from the real-time images provided by the fluoroscope, whereby to create modified fluoroscope images omitting bony structure; and image generating apparatus for generating the virtual road map, wherein the virtual road map comprises a composite image combining (i) images of the virtual 3D structure representing vascular structure of the patient, and (ii) modified fluoroscope images omitting bony structure, wherein the images of the virtual 3D structure representing vascular structure of the patient are in proper registration with the modified fluoroscope images omitting bony structure.

    摘要: A vent stop is installed into a window/door to limit travel therein of a sash member, and being particularly adapted to permit ease of its installation, especially into a wooden door/window. The stop incorporates multiple retention means to inhibit the stop's removal, once properly installed. The retention means includes a wedge-shaped protrusion located at a distal end of the stop housing, which engages the wood of the window opening when pivotally installed therein, to secure a first end of the stop. The opposite end of the stop may be redundantly secured. A first means of securing the opposite end may comprise one or more arcuate flanges on housing side walls, flanges being adapted to unidirectional movement so as to permit its movement relative to the window opening during installation, but thereafter deterring counter-pivotal motion that would allow removal of the vent stop. A second means comprises a deformable spring clip.

    摘要: A balance assembly for a sliding sash window, where a spring-loaded pulley arrangement is interconnected between the window frame and the window, to counter the weight of the window, and permit ease of opening and closing the window. The spring-loaded pulley arrangement is located within a housing, which also facilitates attachment of the shoe. The shoe of this balance assembly being rotatable between a first and a second position to permit fitting the assembly into the side of the window frame, when the shoe is in the first position, and to permit final installation of the assembly when the shoe in the second position. The shoe is retained in the first and second positions by detents. This rotatable shoe feature permitting installation, of the Balance Assembly of this invention, into a window frame at later stages of the window assembly sequence.

    摘要: Methods and systems for detecting pinholes in a film formed on a wafer or for monitoring a thermal process tool are provided. One method for detecting pinholes in a film formed on a wafer includes generating output responsive to light from the wafer using an inspection system. The output includes first output corresponding to defects on the wafer and second output that does not correspond to the defects. This method also includes detecting the pinholes in the film formed on the wafer using the second output. One method for monitoring a thermal process tool includes generating output responsive to light from a wafer using an inspection system. The output includes the first and second output described above. The wafer was processed by the thermal process tool prior to generating the output. The method also includes monitoring the thermal process tool using the second output.
