A decoder circuit for driving a selected one from a set of N output lines on the basis of an M-bit address and in response to a turn-on signal contains K≧2 parallel input decoders, each of which decodes an associated segment of the M-bit address by activating precisely one of its outputs. An output decoder contains, for each of the N output lines, a separate drive path having a group of K controllable switches in series between the output line in question and a drive potential. Each switch group in the output decoder can be turned on by precisely one associated subset of the input decoder outputs which contains precisely one output from each input decoder. Connected to the outputs of one of the input decoders is a device which responds to the turn-on signal in order to enable these outputs for coupling to the associated switches in the drive paths only during the appearance of the turn-on signal.

A decoding apparatus for transmitting a high voltage signal includes a final decoder for switchably transmitting a transmission signal. The final decoder has a switching device that has at least one depletion-mode-type field effect transistor and/or field effect transistor having a low threshold voltage (i.e., 0.1 to 0.4 V), in particular, a low VT field effect transistor. A transmission signal line supplies the transmission signal to the decoder, a driver signal line supplies a driver signal to the decoder, and an output signal line outputs an output signal from the decoder. The driver signal line applies the driver signal to the gate line, the transmission signal line applies the transmission signal to the source line. The field effect transistor is configured to selectively connect the output signal to the output signal line device through the output in response to a reset of the driver signal. The configuration reduces the likelihood of channel degradation and of failure in the field effect transistor.

To accommodate adjustment of the steering column as to its inclination and length, the cover sleeve is fastened by one end to the dashboard and by the other end to a steering column casing. The cover sleeve is braced between its fastening ends by a displaceable frame which is mounted on the casing and is acted upon in its direction of displacement by a resilient tensioning element.

A rigid bearing block of considerable height is immovable in the measuring position and extends parallel with the central axis. One end of the leaf springs is rigidly clamped on the bearing block. The other end of the leaf springs is rigidly connected to the first bar device which extends at least over the distance between the leaf springs. The effective length of the leaf springs is the same. A third bar device lies between the leaf springs and is pivotably mounted through the bearing block, with one end connected to the first bar device and compensating weights on the other end.

A device for storing and loading unbelted ammunition in a turret equipped with a tubular weapon, the tubular weapon being equipped with one shaft magazine on either side, with a ring magazine to receive ammunition disposed in the turret basket. Each respective shaft magazine can be supplied with ammunition by way of an associated lifting device. A ring magazine is disposed in a turret basket so as to be rotatable about its axis by means of a drive. A digital phase control circuit incorporates a phase detector and a controllable oscillator controlled by an internal clock. The oscillator is formed as a presettable counter which is counted by the internal clock and preset with a variable intial value corresponding to a function of the frequency of the current data clock derived from an incoming data stream. The phase detector is formed as a shift register for delaying data signals, a counter storage register associated with a counter, and an intermediate storage register associated with the shift register, the storage registers manifesting the state of the counter or the state of the shift register at a predetermined time during an operating cycle, as indicated by the counter. Depending on the position of a data signal in the shift register when the counter reaches a predetermined state, one of the storage registers is selected for connection to a rated value generator for selection of a new rated value for presetting the counter, such new rated value being selected in accordance with the frequency of the current data clock and with the phase-signifying content of one of the storage registers.
