摘要: A two-cycle internal combustion engine includes a control valve disposed within a communicating passage between the combustion chamber and a chamber portion adjacent to the combustion chamber. The control valve is for controlling the opening and closing of the communicating passage. Blowby of an air-fuel mixture supplied to the combustion chamber can be prevented to reduce fuel consumption and increase the exhaust gas purifying performance. A communicating passage portion between the control valve and the fuel supply opening is configured to spray fuel from the control valve to a part or all of a wall surface of the communicating passage portion and the wall surface of the communicating passage portion is shaped to guide the fuel into the combustion chamber.

摘要: The present invention pertains to a transfer press which achieves a reduction in the overall length of the press line and, hence, in the total weight, while ensuring high efficiency and safety of preparatory work, such as changing of idle nests, owing to a facility which permits such a preparatory work to be performed externally of the press. To these ends, the transfer press has: an upright (3) disposed between and commonly possessed by adjacent press units (P1, P2); locating means (4A, 2A) for locating adjacent crowns (4, 4) with respect to each other and adjacent beds (2, 2) with respect to each other, respectively; and a tie rod (7) extending through the boundary between the adjacent beds (2, 2) and through the boundary between the adjacent crowns (4, 4), the adjacent crowns (4, 4) and the adjacent beds (2, 2) respectively being tied together through the upright (3).

摘要: A contact structure for connecting a semiconductor device to a wiring electrode includes a semiconductor layer forming a part of the semiconductor device. A first contact layer of reduced resistivity covers a surface of the semiconductor layer. An insulating structure is provided on the first contact layer so as to bury the first contact layer underneath. A penetrating hole is opened through the insulating structure so as to expose a part of the first contact layer. A second contact layer of reduced resistivity is provided on the part of the first contact layer exposed by the penetrating hole. The second contact layer extends from a bottom of the penetrating hole along its side wall. A conductor layer forms the wiring electrode provided on the second contact layer.

摘要: A liquid crystal display according to the present invention has a pair of plastic substrates opposing each other and a liquid crystal sandwiched therebetween. A hard coat layer made from a resin composition including fine particles of silicon oxide and an organic resin, an undercoat layer and a transparent electrode which are respectively made from an inorganic oxide are formed in this order on the inner opposing surface of each plastic substrate. Thus, a liquid crystal display having a hard coat layer serving as a buffer layer is provided. In this liquid crystal display, cracks in the undercoat layer and the transparent electrode and peeling between the plastic substrate and the undercoat layer are prevented.

摘要: A novel turnover device adapted to receive a workpiece at its inlet end and deliver the workpiece in a turned over state from its outlet end at a distance from the inlet end is disclosed herein, which comprises a main body frame, first and second carriers supported on the main body frame so as to be movable in the inlet-outlet direction, first and second arm holders rotatably supported by the first and second carriers, respectively, first and second arm rods slidably held by the first and second arm holders, respectively, first and second workpiece holders fixedly secured to one end of the first and second crank drive mechanisms associated with the first and second carriers, respectively, and adapted to rock the first and second rods, respectively, in the inlet-outlet direction when the carriers are moved in the inlet-outlet direction, and carrier drive means for driving the first and second carriers simultaneously in the opposite directions so that they may approach to each other and they may separate from each other.
