摘要: An AC-DC converter which allows an input current of an input AC power source to have harmonic currents of reduced levels and which supplies a stabilized output DC voltage to a load is realized by a simple circuit configuration. The converter has: a converter circuit consisting of a choke coil which receives a rectified voltage from a rectifying circuit, a switch element, and a diode; a smoothing capacitor which smooths the output voltage of the converter circuit and supplies the smoothed voltage to a load; and a control circuit consisting of a current detection circuit, a voltage detection circuit, and a pulse-width control circuit. In order to stabilize the output voltage, the switch element is turned on and off so that the peak value of the input current of the converter circuit is limited in a DC-like manner, thereby allowing the input current to have a trapezoidal waveform.

摘要: In chromium-free aqueous acidic washing solutions for cleaning the surfaces of aluminum and aluminum-alloy particles, so as to remove therefrom smut and lubricating oil left on the surfaces thereof after metal forming operations, which solutions contain from 0.2 to 4 g/l ferric ion and sufficient sulfuric and/or nitric acid to impart a pH of 2 or less to the solutionh (and which optionally may also contain fluoride ions up to a concentration of 0.5 g/l) there is provided a method of controlling the effectiveness of the washing solution in which the ferric ion concentration therein is monitored, conveniently by the oxidation-reduction potential of the washing solution, as shown in FIG. 3, and is controlled within the desired limits by adding when appropriate suitable amounts of oxidant capable of oxidizing ferrous ions to ferric ions and, separately or in conjunction therewith, a replenisher containing a source of iron ions.

摘要: An illuminator emits light obliquely to an end of an adhesive film. A CCD camera is provided in a direction perpendicular to the adhesive film to capture an image of the light reflected irregularly from the end of the adhesive film. A black plate is provided on a back side of the adhesive film. In the image obtained by the CCD camera, therefore, only the end of the adhesive film is displayed whitely in a line shape. A position of the adhesive film is determined based on a line corresponding to the end of the adhesive film. Since the light reflected from the end of the adhesive film is utilized, the position of the adhesive film can be determined accurately irrespective of a color of the adhesive film, a color of a base film to which the adhesive film is joined, and a depth of each color.

摘要: A test fluid measurement device includes an output acquisition unit for acquiring an output value from a urinary sugar sensor, when a reference fluid, set to a specified density, is applied to the urinary sugar sensor. By using this output value to set a reference value, a reference value setting unit calibrates the sensitivity of the urinary sugar sensor. During sensitivity calibration, an output value judgment unit determines according to an output value that is already acquired by the output acquisition unit whether or not the output value that is newly acquired by the output acquisition unit is suitable to be set as the reference value. After an output value is determined not to be suitable as the reference value setting, a reference fluid detection unit detects when more reference fluid from which another output value is to be acquired by the output acquisition unit has been additionally applied.
