Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described in relation to a Multiple Subscriber Identify Module (MSIM) user equipment (UE). The UE associated with multiple network subscriptions may determine a first timing of a first set of paging occasions associated with a first network subscription of the multiple network subscriptions, wherein the first network subscription is associated with a first network; determine a second timing of a second set of paging occasions associated with a second network subscription of the multiple network subscriptions, wherein the second network subscription is associated with a second network; compare the first timing and the second timing; detect a paging time adjustment condition based on the comparing; and transmit, based on detecting the paging time adjustment condition, a paging frame offset adjustment request to the first network, the second network or both.

Abstract: A multi-SIM UE may perform network SIB acquisition for each network subscription. However, if the multi-SIM UE employs subscriptions for the same network these operations may be performed redundantly. By identifying that the UE is employing multiple subscriptions, the UE and network can perform a single SIB acquisition for multiple subscriptions, which reduces power consumption and optimize network signaling overhead. In an aspect of the disclosure, a method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus are provided. The apparatus may be a UE configured to determine that the UE is associated with a plurality of network subscriptions, the plurality of network subscriptions being associated with a network, select a network subscription from the plurality of network subscriptions, perform a random-access procedure using the network subscription, receive system information broadcast in response to the random-access procedure, and configure the plurality of network subscriptions at the UE based on the system information.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that provide for call continuity following radio link failure (RLF) through re-establishment of a voice call using a same or different radio access technology (RAT) before the call is dropped. Upon detection of RLF on a connection supporting a voice call, a UE may initiate a drop call timer and scan for available connections. The voice call may be attempted to be re-established if a connection is available on using a RAT of an existing connection. The voice call in such cases may continue without the call being dropped. Upon expiration of the drop call timer, the UE may attempt to establish a connection using a RAT identified during the duration of the drop call timer.

Abstract: Capability exchange enhancements include filtering and/or indexing. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) determines UE capabilities to be reported to a network based on one or more of: one or more enquiries from the network, received system information, a home operator policy, configuration associated with public land mobile network (PLMN) information of one or more networks, a user preference, or a service type. In other aspects, a UE may report a subset of UE capabilities for features used for the connection establishment. Following connection establishment, the UE may use an identifier to communicate a more complete set of modes of operation that the UE is currently capable of performing. Base stations of the network may share the reported subset so that the UE may avoid transmitting the subset to a target base station.

The UAV may undock from the docking terminal before charging of the onboard battery is complete in response to receiving the message from the charging station with the instruction to undock.

Abstract: Techniques are provided to initiate signal transmissions for possible opportunistic reception by a mobile device, and/or to initiate opportunistic reception of signal transmissions for use in mobile device position location estimation. For example, a mobile device may use assistance data to identify a first signal to be transmitted over a first frequency band and a second signal to be transmitted over a second frequency band during a specific period of time. At least a portion of the second frequency band may be outside of the first frequency band. The mobile device subsequently attempts to opportunistically receive at least the first signal and the second signal via a receiver tuned to a reception frequency band that encompasses at least the first frequency band and the second frequency band. The mobile device may then process the opportunistically received signals to obtain measurements corresponding to at least the first and second signals.

Abstract: One aspect of the present application provides a Category M apparatus that communicates over a communication network. The apparatus comprises a processor and an interface. Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure relate to methods and apparatus for reducing resource contention between two or more RATs supported by a User Equipment (UE). The UE may determine a first level of contention between Radio Frequency (RF) resources to be used by two or more Radio Access Technologies (RATs) supported by the UE over a given period of time for performing at least one type of receive activity, based at least on assigned Discontinuous Reception (DRX) cycles for the RATs. The UE may decide to initiate an update of a DRX cycle for at least one of the RATs to reduce the contention, at least if the determined first level is greater than a given threshold level of the contention over the given period of time.
