摘要: A mask system for delivery of respiratory therapy to a patient includes a nares portion and a mouth portion and an inlet conduit connected to at least one of the nares portion and the mouth portion to deliver the pressurized, breathable gas. The mask system is adapted to selectively utilize the nares portion and/or the mouth portion in a first mode utilizing both the nares portion and the mouth portion, and in a second mode utilizing the nares portion and not utilizing the mouth portion.

A first headgear chord is connected to a first side of the support portion, and a second headgear chord connected to a second side of the support portion. Headgear is adapted to connect to the first and second headgear chords to secure the support portion to a head of the patient. At least one adjustment device on the support portion is adapted to selectively move the first and second headgear chords to tighten or loosen the headgear.

摘要: A patient interface structure for delivery of respiratory therapy to a patient includes a cushion assembly that has an elastomeric piece with a mouth seal portion configured to seal around the patient's mouth and a nasal seal portion configured to seal against at least an underside of the patient's nose. The cushion assembly also has a cushion clip attached to the elastomeric piece and forms at least part of a plenum chamber with the elastomeric piece. The cushion clip is more rigid than the elastomeric piece. A front plate that is more rigid than the elastomeric piece and has a plurality of headgear attachment points is attachable to the cushion clip by way of a snap fit connection. A gas passage extends along a surface of the front plate and includes an inlet opening configured to connect to an air delivery tube or a connector for an air delivery tube.

Further, a component may be a strap, some other headgear component, a mask component, an accessory component or the like.

The water reservoir comprises a reservoir base including a cavity structured to hold a volume of water, the reservoir base including a main body and a thermally conductive portion provided to the main body. The thermally conductive portion comprises a combined layered arrangement including a metal plate and a thin film, the thin film comprising a non-metallic material and including a wall thickness of less than about 1 mm. The thin film is adapted to form at least a bottom interior surface of the water reservoir exposed to the volume of water, and the metal plate is adapted to form a bottom exterior surface of the water reservoir.

A patient interface system includes a patient interface structure and a patient interface structure positioning system configured to position, stabilize and secure the patient interface structure in sealing engagement with the patient's face.

The RPT device includes a pressure generator, a pneumatic block, a chassis and a device outlet for delivering a supply of flow of gas to a patient interface. The RPT device also comprises an integrated humidifier including a water reservoir. An RPT device is also disclosed that includes a wireless data communication interface integrated with the housing and configured to connect to another device or a network.
