    摘要: An evaluation method for evaluating safety of a battery having an electrode group including a positive electrode plate, a negative electrode plate and a separator inserted between said electrode plates. The method includes the steps of charging the battery to a predetermined voltage; incorporating conductive foreign matter into the charged battery such that the conductive foreign matter is in contact with the positive electrode plate, and not in contact with the negative electrode plate; immersing said battery into which the conductive foreign matter has been incorporated in an electrolyte to dissolve and deposit the conductive foreign matter, thereby causing an internal short circuit to occur in the battery; and evaluating a thermal behavior of the battery in which the internal short circuit has occurred, and outputting results of the evaluation as safety indices.

    摘要: Lubricating oil supply holes are drilled into a first member that is fitted to a plurality of first annular plates by a spline. Of splines to which each lubricating oil supply hole corresponds, lubricating oil grooves provided in the plurality of first annular plates do not overlap the splines on at least one of the front and rear surfaces of the first annular plates, and therefore lubricating oil flowing out of the lubricating oil supply holes is dispersed in a circumferential direction and flows from the inner periphery to the outer periphery of the first annular plates, rather than gathering in each lubricating oil groove and flowing in an outer peripheral direction. As a result, a force generated by an axial lubricating oil flow, which acts in a direction for causing the second annular plates to contact friction materials on the first annular plates, is suppressed, leading to a reduction in drag torque.

    摘要: There is provided a film measuring device capable of accurately and easily measuring the thickness of a microporous film formed on a battery electrode plate over the entire area of the film. A color CCD sensor 8 shoots the microporous film. A video board 11 converts a color tone of a color image signal obtained by the image pickup into gradation data of respective color components of RGB. After the data conversion, an image processing board 12 extracts line images of the respective color components. A calculator 14 obtains the thickness of the microporous film by referring to pre-measured film thickness reference values corresponding to the gradation data of the green or blue color component, which are stored in a table storage 13 as reference thickness table data, using the gradation data of the line image of the green color component or the blue color component as lookup data.

    摘要: An electric torque converter mounted on a parallel hybrid vehicle employing a parallel hybrid system, using both an internal combustion engine and an electric motor for propulsion, includes an electric motor generator having a motor generator rotor and a motor generator stator coil, and a composition-and-distribution mechanism located between the engine and a transmission for combining torque produced by the engine and torque produced by the motor generator with each other and for mechanically distributing the torque produced by the engine into the motor generator and a transmission input shaft. A converter case includes a third casing member formed with a boss portion supporting a rotating member of the composition-and-distribution mechanism by a bearing, and partitioning the motor generator from the composition-and-distribution mechanism. Also provided is a rotor support including a substantially cylindrical outer support portion supporting thereon the motor generator rotor, a substantially cylindrical inner support portion whose inner periphery is fixedly connected to the rotating member, and a connection portion interconnecting the inner and outer support portions. A locknut is located on the outer periphery of the rotating member and mates with a first one of axial ends of the substantially cylindrical inner support portion, for pre-loading the bearing via the rotor support. A position sensor includes a resolver rotor located on the inner periphery of the substantially cylindrical outer support portion, and a resolver stator located on the outer periphery of the boss portion.
