摘要: A boat propulsion system includes a shift mechanism arranged to change a shift position among forward, neutral, and reverse. A shift position detection mechanism is connected to a control lever with a wire. The shift position detection mechanism has a detected member and a position detection section. The detected member is displaced corresponding to an operation position of the control lever as the control lever is operated. The position detection section detects a position of the detected member. The position detection section outputs a shift position signal corresponding to the detected position of the detected member. A control device controls the shift position of the shift mechanism on the basis of the shift position signal. The boat propulsion system provided with the shift mechanism of an electronic control type can replace a boat propulsion system provided with a shift mechanism of a mechanical type at low cost.

摘要: An ophthalmologic examination apparatus is provided which is capable of performing a variety of ophthalmologic examinations with a low-cost configuration. An illuminating optical system for illuminating an eye fundus and an imaging optical system for imaging the illuminated eye fundus, which are both necessary in an ophthalmologic examination, are housed in a main unit. A plurality of attachment units is removably mounted to the main unit. Each of the attachment units is provided with a different ophthalmologic function such as a function for planarly or stereographically observing or photographing the imaged eye fundus, a function for emitting stimulating light on the eye fundus or a function for spectroscopically analyzing the eye fundus. Such an arrangement allows the ophthalmologic examination apparatus to perform various functions merely by selecting the attachment unit and mounting it to the main unit.

摘要: An imaging system is provided that is capable of controlling a photographic operation to provide favorable images of a fundus of an eye to be examined. When a normal photographic mode is selected, a single operation of a shutter button causes a single trigger signal to be generated. On the other hand, when a stereo photographic mode is selected, a single operation of a shutter button causes two trigger signals to be generated in succession. The generated trigger signal triggers a switching device so that a position of a photographic stop is automatically switched to a position predetermined for the photographic mode, and the photographic light source is caused to emit light a number of times that corresponds to the selected photographic mode. In such a configuration, fundus images are automatically produced a set number of times by a single operation of the shutter. Therefore, a high-quality fundus image can be obtained without concerns that an appropriate moment to capture an image will be missed.

摘要: Exciting light from a strobe light source is projected onto the fundus of the subject eye to excite a fluorescence substance in a subject eye fundus. Natural fluorescence exited in the fundus is received by a photodiode via a stop located at a position that is conjugate with the fundus. An XY stage is used to move the stop perpendicularly to the optical axis to change the measurement location. The output of the photodiode is used to calculate the intensity of the fluorescence from the measurement location. Since the measurement location can be changed with ease, it is possible to accurately and easily measure natural fluorescence from a desired part of the fundus.

摘要: Teeth of a first core sub-part and teeth of a second core sub-part are alternately arranged in a circumferential direction. Each tooth has a tooth main body, which may include two tilted portions at two opposed circumferential ends, respectively, of the tooth main body. Each tilted portion is angled relative to a corresponding direction parallel to the axial direction of the core. Each one of the first and second core sub-parts may have fitting recesses and fitting projections, which are engaged with the fitting projections and the fitting recesses of the other one of the first and second core sub-parts. Each tapered wall surface of each fitting recess is angled relative to a corresponding direction parallel to the axial direction. Similarly, each tapered wall surface of each fitting projection is angled relative to a corresponding direction parallel to the axial direction.

摘要: A vehicle direction correcting apparatus comprises: a first filter for passing therethrough a low frequency component contained in the output voltage of a relative direction detecting unit to thereby produce a first output voltage; a second filter having delay time different from that of the first filter, for passing therethrough a low frequency component contained in the output voltage of the relative direction detecting unit to thereby produce a second output voltage; a voltage judging unit for judging as to whether or not the first output voltage of the first filter is made coincident with the second output voltage of the second filter within a predetermined error range; and a control unit for setting an output voltage of the relative direction detecting unit as the central point potential in the case that the voltage judging unit judges that the first output voltage is made coincident with the second output voltage within the predetermined error range. As a result, the vehicle direction correcting apparatus can correct the output voltage of the relative direction detecting unit based upon this central point potential in the output voltage of the relative direction detecting unit for detecting direction of the vehicle in such a manner that the drift error contained in the output voltage is eliminated.

摘要: A lubricating and drive system for a marine propulsion transmission that is comprised of an upper reversing transmission and a lower final drive transmission. A lubricant pump is driven off an input shaft to the reversing transmission for supplying lubricant for actuating its clutches and also for lubricating its gears. The pickup for the lubricant pump is disposed at a lower position in the final drive gear case so as to maintain a low lubricant level therein when the unit is operating so as to reduce drag.
