Abstract:
A movement assistance device is provided with thigh frames, lower leg frames, and knee joint mechanisms which are disposed on the outer side and the inner side, respectively, of each knee of a person to be assisted. Each of the thigh frames has a first main frame, which extends in the longitudinal direction of a thigh from a base disposed on one side of the hip of the person to be assisted to the outer knee joint mechanism, a second main frame, which obliquely extends on the front side of the thigh from the base to the inner knee joint mechanism, and a body support member, which is extended between the two main frames on the rear surface side of the thigh.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a rehabilitation training apparatus including a pair of first tracks that are arranged in parallel at an interval, a second track that is perpendicular to the pair of first tracks and is movably connected to the pair of first tracks, a hand holder that is movably provided in the second track and on which a hand of the user is held, a holder driving unit that reciprocally moves the hand holder along the second track, and a track driving unit that reciprocally moves the second track along the pair of first tracks.
Abstract:
A mechanized sexual stimulation device is provided that provides a reciprocating stimulation body, preferably emulating a male in function with various length of penetration possible. Designs herein allow the protruding dildo to move back and forth to a variety of length, speeds and angles while flexing in many directions. The device includes a housing with a ball reverse screw rotatably mounted to the housing, and a reversing nut which retains bearing balls that allow the nut to move linearly up and down the ball reverse screw as the screw is turned in a single direction, thereby moving a reciprocating stimulation body such as a dildo connected (indirectly or directly) to the reversing nut. Channel or groove structures on the ball reverse screw and reversing nut guide the reciprocating back and forth stoke in a linear motion.
Abstract:
An apparatus for automated walking training includes a frame or treadmill having a driven treadmill belt and a pelvis attachment to support a position and weight of a user. The pelvis attachment includes a displacement unit for allowing a movement of the user's pelvis held by attachment elements transverse to and/or rotating about a perpendicular axis to the walking direction of the treadmill to provide a more natural and physiological gait during training. A weight suspension unit having a cable guided over a guide roller positioned above and attached to the pelvis attachment may include a displacement unit adapted to move the guide roller perpendicular to the diverted section of the cable to influence the transverse position of an upper body of the user as well as to prevent a pendulum effect of the trunk of his body.
Abstract:
A therapeutic vibrational system for treating such conditions as hypertension may have a plurality of vibrating patches; each including a vibrating motor with an adhesive for application to a person's skin permitting the plurality of vibrating patches to be placed in two or more locations on the person's skin, as well as a controller with a user interface and configured to provide control instructions to the plurality of vibrating patches.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a prostate massager that includes a first section connected to a second section. The first section can bend relative to the second section at various angles to optimize prostate stimulation. Each of the first section and the second section includes a vibrating unit that can facilitate massaging. The vibrating unit can be controlled via a control switch that is operatively connected to a printed circuit board. The printed circuit board can include a network interface for connecting the massager to an external user device to remotely control the massager.
Abstract:
A plunger adapter and a detachable compression pad for piston driven chest compression devices optimizes the application of chest compressions to a fixed location on a patient's chest. The detachable compression pad may be removably secured to the patient above the patient's sternum to ensure that the compression pressure from the piston through the piston adapter is applied to a fixed location on the patient's chest. As the plunger and plunger adapter retract from the chest, the compression pad remains fixed to the patient's chest, and as the plunger and plunger adapter extend from the chest compression unit for subsequent compression strokes, the distal end of the plunger adapter reengages the compression pad to apply compression to a fixed location on the patient's chest.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a two-degree-of-freedom planar rehabilitating, monitoring and/or evaluating device comprising a first guiding mechanism (2), a second guiding mechanism (3), substantially parallel to the first guiding mechanism (2), a third guiding mechanism (4), substantially perpendicular to the first and second guiding mechanisms (2, 3), and an end-effector (5), wherein the third guiding mechanism (4) is connected to the first and second guiding mechanisms (2, 3), and wherein the end-effector (5) is connected to the third guiding mechanism (4). The present invention also relates to a two-degree-of-freedom planar rehabilitating, monitoring and/or evaluating interactive device adapted for rehabilitation, monitoring and/or assessment of the upper limbs of a subject, comprising said device.
Abstract:
A reciprocal treatment device. The reciprocal treatment device includes a battery, a motor, a trigger, an actuated output, and a treatment structure. The trigger is in electrical communication with the battery and the motor. The trigger selectively provides power from the battery to the motor. The actuated output is operatively connected to the motor and configured to reciprocate in response to activation of the motor. The treatment structure is operatively connected to the actuated output.
