Abstract: A multi air chamber tire 1 includes a tread portion 4, a pair of bead portions 2, a pair of sidewall portions 3, and partition walls 30 respectively provided to half portions of a tire which are defined with respect to a tire equator plane, the partition walls 30 partitioning an inner cavity of the tire to form a plurality of air chambers disposed adjacent to each other. Each of the partition walls 30 includes a first coupling portion 9a and a second coupling portion 9b coupled with a tire inner wall surface. When the tire 1 is filled with fluid, a first air chamber 20 is formed in a space inward of the partition walls 30 in a tire width direction, and a second air chamber 21 is formed in each space between a partition wall 30 and the tire inner wall surface of a sidewall portion 3.

Abstract: The invention relates to a device for inserting inside tires of a vehicle so that it follows its course without stopping after a bursting. The device comprises a cluster of flexible bladders (1) which are made of rubber, have a diameter of one to several inches according to the use, are interconnected by a cord (2.1) with its distribution branches (2.2, 2.3) and an inflating stem (3). The air enters each bladder via the cord by means of a very sensitive mini-check valve (9). During inflation, the air contained inside the space of the tire is purged via a purging system (6, 7, 8). In one variant, the principle of the valves, cord and purge is retained, but there are fewer bladders and they have the shape of sections of the tire. Bladders that are resistant to depression can also be used with the same valves and purge but without a cord. The refilling ensues by an over inflation step followed by a reduction effected by the purge until the operating pressure is reached. Finally, one or several rings of multiple or single chambers can be used that are inflated to a pressure greater than the tire and mounted inside around the wheel.

Abstract: This invention provides an air bladder for a safety tire capable of making a cylindrical form at an inflated state without adhering inner surfaces thereof to each other in the forming step, and particularly provides an air bladder for the safety tire formed by sticking a sheet-shaped rubber member 2 on a flat drum 1, folding back both widthwise ends 3 of the rubber member 2 and jointing both the ends 3 of the rubber member 2 at an outer diameter side with respect to the flat drum 1 to make a cylindrical form, characterized in that inner surfaces 4 of the rubber member 2 are not adhered to each other after both the widthwise ends 3 of the rubber member 2 are folded back.
