Abstract: A generation device that generates a feature amount range visualization element that defines a continuous feature amount range for each of the factors based on time series data including feature amounts of different factors existing in time series and generates an inter-feature amount visualization element that defines relevance between a first feature amount of a first factor and a second feature amount of a second factor that are continuous in time. The device also generates visualization information indicating a relationship of the feature amounts related to the plurality of different factors by associating, by the inter-feature amount visualization element, a first feature amount range visualization element of the first factor with a second feature amount range visualization element of the second factor.

Abstract: A computer-implemented system and method performs a search operation. One or more servers coupled in communication with a network, and comprising a processor, a data store, and a controller comprising a matching unit that is configured to access the data store. The matching unit is configured to receive a partial query term inputted into a displayed search access point at a remote computer, and to match the partial query term to the data store to create a list of match keywords. The matching unit is further configured to perform a relevancy process on the matched keywords. The matching unit is yet further configured to determine top matched keywords based upon the relevancy and send a listing of the top matched keywords, to be displayed adjacent the displayed search access point at the remote computer. The listing is configured to be changed based on a change to the partial query term.

Abstract: The disclosed technology includes systems and methods for controlling enrollment and secure persistent SMS texting account servicing communications. A method is provided that includes receiving, at an enrollment web portal, enrollment data including: enrollment credentials identifying a user for authentication, a phone number of a mobile device associated with the user, and consent by the user to persistently interact with an account servicing system via SMS texting. The method includes: processing the received enrollment data, authenticating the user responsive to processing the received enrollment data, storing the phone number of the mobile device associated with the user in a phone number data storage, and generating, responsive to the authenticating, a revocable token for persistent access to a natural dialogue module via a SMS texting gateway for the mobile device identified by the phone number.

Abstract: A method for execution by a computing device includes obtaining a phrase that includes string of words and generating a valid sequence of words utilizing the phrase. The method further includes identifying a set of identigens for each word of the valid sequence of words to produce sets of identigens. The method further includes identifying, for each identigen of the sets of identigens, a word type associated with phrase structure grammar rules to produce sets of identigen-type associations. The method further includes interpreting, utilizing the phrase structure grammar rules, the sets of identigen-type associations to produce an entigen group. The entigen group represents a most likely interpretation of the phrase.

Abstract: Aspect pre-selection techniques using machine learning are described. In one example, an artificial assistant system is configured to implement a chat bot. A user then engages in a first natural-language conversation. As part of this first natural-language conversation, a communication is generated by the chat bot to prompt the user to specify an aspect of a category that is a subject of a first natural-language conversation and user data is received in response. Data that describes this first natural-language conversation is used to train a model using machine learning. Data, is then be received by the chat bot as part of a second natural-language conversation. This data, from the second natural-language conversation, is processed using the model as part of machine learning to generate the second search query to include the aspect of the category automatically and without user intervention.

Abstract: A method uses natural language for visual analysis of a dataset, and is performed at a computer having a display, processors, and memory. The computer displays a data visualization based on a dataset retrieved from a database and receives a first user input to specify a natural language command related to the displayed data visualization. Based on the displayed data visualization and the natural language command, the computer identifies an initial range of values for a first data field in the dataset and displays an editable user interface control showing the initial range of values. The computer receives a second user input, at the user interface control, specifying a modified range of values for the first data field and retrieves an updated dataset from the database using the modified range of values for the first data field. The computer then updates the displayed data visualization using the updated dataset.

Abstract: A method includes detecting a user input comprising an incomplete three-dimensional (3D) gesture performed by one or more hands of a first user by a virtual-reality (VR) headset, selecting candidate 3D gestures from pre-defined 3D gestures based on a personalized gesture-recognition model, wherein each of the candidate 3D gestures is associated with a confidence score representing a likelihood the first user intended to input the respective candidate 3D gesture, and presenting one or more suggested inputs corresponding to one or more of the candidate 3D gestures at the VR headset.

Abstract: A method utilizes data discovery to support visual analysis of datasets. A user selects a data source, and the method presents a natural language interface for analysis of the data source. A user specifies an incomplete natural language command directed to the data source, and the method correlates words in the incomplete natural language command with a data field in the data source. The method determines the data type of the data field and a range of data values for the data field. According to the data type and the range of data values, the method presents one or more autocompletion options for the incomplete natural language command. Each option includes respective text and a respective corresponding visual graphic. The user selects one of the autocompletion options, and the method forms a complete natural language command. The method then displays a data visualization according to the complete natural language command.

Abstract: Techniques are provided for automated query modification using graphical query representations. One method comprises obtaining a query referencing multiple fields in one or more information elements; generating a graph of the query by: establishing nodes for referenced fields; connecting the established nodes corresponding to referenced fields from a same information element using one or more edges; adding edges, for operations in the query that establish a connection between information elements based at least in part on a related field in the information elements, to connect the nodes corresponding to the related fields; and setting a status of nodes corresponding to fields that are selected in the query to a selected status; and initiating an automatic generation of a modification of a portion of the query based at least in part on the graph. The modification may comprise a correction, completion and/or enrichment of the query.
