    摘要: A device implementing a system for providing location based search results includes at least one processor configured to detect that a location of a device is within a location of a store or within a threshold distance of the location, and establish a connection with a wireless network of the store. The at least one processor is configured to access an intranet associated with the store, the intranet being accessed via a network identifier previously stored on the device in association with the store, and receive user input for a search. The at least one processor is configured to obtain, via the intranet, at least one of a query completion suggestion or search result having been targeted to the location of the store or the threshold distance of the location, and display the at least one of the query completion suggestion or the search result in association with the search.

    摘要: Technologies are described here for, among other things, improving search query relevance by executing a query on a search engine, retrieving search-page-data generated from executing the query, the search-page-data including document-titles and universal resource locators (URLs), each document-title being a title of a document associated with a URL, determining relevant-entity-words in the query from an entity relevance score for matching search terms in the query, Domain-URLs, and Domain-Titles, determining relevant-intent-words in the query from an intent-word relevance score based on a number of times a search term appears in the query and the URLs relative to other search terms in the query and the URLs, comparing each of the determined relevant-entity-words and each of the determined relevant-intent-words with a plurality of stored past-user queries, retrieving the plurality of stored past-user search queries including the relevant-entity-words and the relevant-intent-words, and transmitting a set of query suggestions to a client device.

    摘要: A system for automatic fleet partitioning includes client devices and a device management server having tag definition and tag assignment repositories. The server receives and stores, in the tag definition repository, definitions with tag assignment criteria; and for each client device: obtains a client identifier and attribute set; for each tag assignment criterion satisfied by the attribute set, associates a corresponding tag name with the client identifier in the tag assignment repository; and for each tag assignment criterion not satisfied by the attribute set, disassociates the corresponding tag name with the client device identifier. The server receives a command to transmit control data to a subset of the client devices associated with a selected tag name; retrieves, from the tag assignment repository, the client identifiers associated with the selected tag name; and transmits the control data to the subset of the client devices.

    摘要: Client-based search query autocomplete is disclosed. A search engine server system sends a search web page of a search engine to a content distribution network (CDN) server system for delivery to a client computing device. The search web page includes a query dialog box and an autocomplete service that is configured to present search query suggestions on a display device. The search engine server system receives, from the CDN server system, a search query list request for a predetermined list of search query suggestions, the search query list request originating from the autocomplete service of the search web page executing on the client computing device. The search engine server system sends the predetermined list of search query suggestions to the CDN server system for delivery to the client computing device.

    摘要: In one implementation, a computer-implemented method includes receiving, at a computer system, a request for outdoor adventures that satisfy one or more criteria; accessing a centralized data repository of outdoor adventures that are provided by a plurality of different guides; identifying, by the computer system, one or more outdoor adventures based on a comparison of the one or more criteria to data associated with the outdoor adventures; generating code that includes information for the one or more outdoor adventures, the code being generated for execution or interpretation on the client computing device; and transmitting the code to the client computing device, wherein the client computing device is programmed to automatically execute or interpret the code upon receipt so as to present a graphical user interface presenting the one or more outdoor adventures and a selectable feature to reserve at least a portion of the one or more adventures.
