Abstract: An LTE network extension (LNE) system includes an LTE access gateway (LAG) and a provisioned database. A plurality of LTE access radios in the LNE system broadcast the same shared PLMN ID (sPLMN ID). The sPLMN ID corresponds to a plurality of service provider core networks, each with a different PLMN. The provisioned database includes information identifying which networks are allowed to use the LNE system and includes service provider network address information. An LTE access radio, transmitting the sPLMN ID detects an attach request from a UE, and forwards the attach request to the LAG, which decides if access is to be allowed, based on a service provider home network PLMN included in an IMSI in the attach request and information in the provisioned database. If access is allowed, the LAG serves as a proxy between the LTE access radio and the UE's service provider home network.

Abstract: A method for a control device to control a connection between a first device and a second device using short-range wireless communication, the method comprising: transmitting, to the first device, a first message including a first operation code for reconnection after an initial connection between the first device and the second device is established, wherein the first operation code includes a first code instructing storage of an address of the second device in a first white list including addresses of devices connected to the first device at least once; transmitting, to the second device, a second message including a second operation code for the reconnection, wherein the second operation code includes a second code instructing storage of an address of the first device in a second white list including addresses of devices connected to the second device at least once; and instructing the first device and the second device to form a connection between the first device and the second device, wherein each of the first white list and the second white list includes addresses of devices connected without the control device when a connection is released after the initial connection.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some implementations, a UE may determine that a maximum permissible exposure (MPE) restriction applies to UE transmissions, and the UE may transmit at a lower power to meet the restriction. The UE may be configured to account for lower power transmission when selecting between a two-step or a four-step random access channel (RACH) procedure. In some cases, the UE may identify a RACH procedure selection rule for selecting between the two-step RACH procedure and the four-step RACH procedure based on whether an exposure condition (e.g., MPE restriction) is identified. The selection rule may indicate one or more synchronization signal block based reference signal received power thresholds to be used by the UE to select between the two-step RACH procedure and four-step RACH procedure. The UE may perform the selected RACH procedure.

Abstract: A service layer entity may register to another service layer entity and proactively request to gain access to the local services hosted by the registrar entity. A registrar entity may accept a registree entity's registration request but only grant access of its partial services to the registree entity. If a registree entity does not need to proactively request the services within its registration request message, the registrar entity decides what services may be needed by the registree entity and grants access of those services to the registree entity.

The rule is related to access control that is different for UEs with different associations, for accessing to the radio communications network. The rule triggers the first UE to perform access barring check based on the first association and the obtained rule when initiating an access attempt to the cell, while the second UE performs access barring check based on the second association and the obtained rule.
