    摘要: The present invention is directed to a process for preparing polymers which may be coupled (reacted) at temperatures above about 200.degree. C., the process comprising first reacting monomer(s) selected from conjugated dienes and monoalkenyl arenes with an organomonolithium initiator and then reacting the resulting polymeric arms (P-Li) with certain arylcyclobutene monomers. These arylcyclobutene monomers have the formula ##STR1## where X is an alkylene or arylene group, Z is an arylcyclobutene group, R is selected from the group consisting of aryl groups, alkyl groups, ##STR2## and H, and R.sup.1 is an aryl group or alkyl group.

    摘要: A process for producing cyclized isoprene polymers having a dispersion degree not higher than 2, which comprises living-polymerizing isoprene monomers using as initiator an organometal compound which is expressed by a general formula RM (where R is alkyl, aryl or aralkyl group and M is lithium, sodium or potassium atom), to obtain an isoprene polymer having a dispersion degree not larger than 1.1, which is close to a unit dispersion, and bringing the obtained polymer into contact with a catalyst composed of a boron trifluoride-ether complex and a carboxylic acid expressed by a general formula Cl.sub.3-n H.sub.n CCOOH (where n is an integer ranging from 0 to 3) under a mild condition. The cyclized polymer is very useful for negative resists in integrated circuits.

    摘要: An object of the invention is to provide a chloroprene polymer composition resistant to discoloration under heat or light. Provided is a chloroprene rubber composition, prepared by carrying out emulsion polymerization in the presence of 0.5 to 7.0 parts by mass of a rosin acid salt as emulsifier and terminating the emulsion polymerization by addition of a polymerization inhibitor and a phosphorus- or phenol-based compound as antioxidant. It is possible according to the invention to obtain a chloroprene polymer composition superior in discoloration resistance under heat or light. The chloroprene polymer composition according to the present invention can be used favorably for adhesion of cloths, leathers, foamed sheets, papers, woods, shoe parts, and others.
