摘要: The present disclosure relates to a method for protecting DC line impedance phase based on protection and control coordination, and an application scenario of the method for protecting is a three-terminal flexible DC transmission network. The method uses high controllability of a converter after a fault, injects a characteristic signal at a characteristic frequency, and calculates a phase angle of input impedance to determine a fault interval, which effectively improves protection performance, turns passive to active, and is not affected by nonlinearity of the converter. At the same time, compared with a full-bridge MMC, using a half-bridge MMC does not need to perform fault ride-through first when identifying a fault, and does not need to add additional equipment, it creates fault features and can reliably identify an fault interval; improves protection quickness and at the same time also has better economic benefits. It has selectivity, and an entire system may not be shut down due to failure of a single line.

摘要: A surge arrester for DC mains comprises a spark gap for extinguishing mains follow currents in the DC mains, the current intensity of which is equal to or greater than a specified current threshold, and a triggerable extinguishing aid assigned to the spark gap, which is set up to extinguish mains follow currents below the specified current threshold. The surge arrester further comprises an evaluation module for triggering the extinguishing aid, the evaluation module being set up to trigger the extinguishing aid as soon as at least two tripping conditions are fulfilled which are characteristic of the fact that the spark gap alone 10 cannot extinguish the mains follow current within a specified time duration. Furthermore, a method of operating such a surge arrester is described.

摘要: A method for fault current monitoring during electrical coupling of a direct voltage load, via positive and negative conductors, to a direct voltage source, includes detecting a magnetic field formed around the positive and negative conductors; comparing the detected magnetic field with respect to a threshold value; and disconnecting the direct voltage load if the threshold value is passed. Further, a direct voltage switching device for coupling a direct voltage load, via positive and negative conductors, to a direct voltage source where the positive and negative conductors are routed through the direct voltage switching device, includes a switching element for coupling and decoupling the direct voltage load, a sensor for detecting a magnetic field formed around the positive and negative conductors; and an evaluation device, connected to the sensor and the switching element, for comparing the detected magnetic field with a threshold value and to activate the switching element to disconnect the direct voltage load when the threshold value is passed.

摘要: An electrical plug provides protection against electrical surges with a replaceable surge protector cartridge that is readily removable and replaceable along an exterior of the plug. Surge protector circuitry in the cartridge can absorb an electrical surge received at the plug from an electrical mains source, and the electrical plug can maintain electrical continuity from plug prongs to an electrical cord both before and after the surge protector has absorbed an electrical surge.

摘要: A PD controller integrated circuit of a USB apparatus is disclosed, including a CC pad, a first switch, a second switch, a PD controller circuit, a high voltage sensing circuit, and a switch control circuit. The high voltage sensing circuit senses the CC pad. When a current voltage of the CC pad does not exceed a rated range, the first switch and the second switch connected in series between the CC pad and the PD controller circuit are turned on. When the current voltage exceeds the rated range, the first switch and the second switch are turned off, and the switch control circuit maintains a voltage of a common node between the first switch and the second switch at a reduced level lower than the current voltage.
