Abstract: A processing method for a processing apparatus, the processing method causing a computer of the processing apparatus to execute steps comprising: detecting a position and a state of a passenger inside a vehicle on the basis of information indicating a state of space including seats of the vehicle, the information obtained from a sensor provided inside the vehicle, notifying an operator of the vehicle of the detected position and state of the passenger, and transmitting, upon detecting an operation, which is performed by the operator of the vehicle, for controlling a device near the detected position of the passenger, a control command corresponding to the operation to the device.

Abstract: An information processing apparatus capable of assisting safe driving of a vehicle at a place such as an intersection where the view from the vehicle is obstructed or restricted is provided. An obtaining unit obtains map information or image information representing an image captured by an image capturing apparatus mounted in a vehicle. And a detection processing unit detects a traffic mirror located near the vehicle on the basis of the map information or the image information. The determining unit determines characteristics of an installed place of the detected traffic mirror on the basis of the map information or the image information. Further a generating unit generates driving assist information on the basis of the determined characteristics, and an output unit outputs the generated driving assist information.

Abstract: An information communication method is provided for obtaining information from a subject using a terminal device that includes an image sensor having a plurality of exposure lines. The method includes setting an exposure time of the image sensor so that, in an image obtained by capturing the subject by the image sensor, a bright line corresponding to each of the plurality of exposure lines included in the image sensor appears according to a change in luminance of the subject. The method also includes obtaining a bright line image including a plurality of bright lines, obtaining identification information of the subject, and sending the identification information to a server. The method further includes obtaining menu information related to the identification information from the server, the menu information related to a restaurant where the subject is installed, and displaying the menu information on a display of the terminal device.

Abstract: A display method capable of displaying an image valuable to a user is disclosed. The display method according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes: Step S41 of capturing, by an imaging sensor, a still image lit up by a transmitter that transmits a signal by luminance change of light as a subject to obtain a captured image; Step S42 of decoding the signal from the captured image; and Step S43 of reading video corresponding to the decoded signal from a memory and superimposing the video on a target region corresponding to the subject in the captured image for display on a display. In Step S43, out of a plurality of images included in the video, the plurality of images is sequentially displayed from a leading image identical to the still image.

Abstract: An encoder includes processing circuitry, a block memory, and a frame memory. The processing circuitry defines at least one parameter for each of plural types of segment_ids, splits an image into blocks, assigns, to each of the blocks, segment_id according to a type of the block, among the plural types of segment_ids, and sequentially encodes the blocks. In encoding the blocks, the processing circuitry identifies segment_id of a current block to be encoded, and encodes the current block using the at least one parameter defined for identified segment_id. The at least one parameter includes seg_context_idx for identifying probability information associated with context used in context-based adaptive binary arithmetic coding (CABAC).

Abstract: A playback method of reading out and playing streams from a recording medium is provided, in which are recorded a stream file including a first luminance video expressed by luminance of a first dynamic range, and a second luminance video expressed by luminance of a second dynamic range that is broader than the first dynamic range, and a playlist file for controlling playback of the stream file. The playback method includes, in a case of playing the first luminance video, reading out the first audio streams listed in the first combination information of the playlist file, and playing at the same time with the first luminance video, and in a case of playing the second luminance video, reading out the second audio streams listed in the second combination information of the playlist file, and playing at the same time with the second luminance video.

Abstract: A macrocell base station controls to reduce interference between cells by a downlink signal of the macrocell base station with specific timing, the interference which a downlink signal of a low transmission power cell suffers for a wireless terminal. A low transmission power cell base station decides measurement timing with which the wireless terminal measures reception quality of the low transmission power cell based on information about the specific timing, and sends a setting message including a parameter according to the measurement timing to the wireless terminal. The wireless terminal measures reception quality with the measurement timing indicated by the parameter, and when the wireless terminal satisfies a condition for executing an event based on the measured result, the wireless terminal sends a reception quality measurement message including information indicating that the measurement is made with the measurement timing to the low transmission power cell base station.

A puncture pattern setting unit searches for a puncture pattern for each integral multiple of the number of columns or for each divisor of the number of columns of a sub block matrix that forms a check matrix (H) of a QC-LDPC code, and a puncture unit (data reduction unit) switches the puncture pattern for each integral multiple of the number of columns or for each divisor of the number of columns of the sub block matrix that forms the check matrix of the QC-LDPC code.
