Abstract:
A process for making a decorative steel article includes the steps of providing a stainless steel preform, washing the preform, coating a surface of the preform, and transferring step involves securing a transfer foil with the decorative pattern to the coated surface, heating the transfer foil and preform, and removing the transfer foil while leaving the decorative pattern on the coated surface.
Abstract:
An integrated circuit-based charge pump generates an output voltage having a greater magnitude than a power supply voltage. The charge pump has a charge pump section having a plurality of alternating stages driven by first and second alternating, non-overlapping clock signals, said plurality of alternating stages including an input stage for receiving the power supply voltage and an output stage for generating at a last stage node a last stage voltage having a greater magnitude than the power supply voltage. A gating transistor is coupled at a drain terminal to the last stage node, wherein the gating transistor is clocked by one of said clock signals and is biased so that the gating transistor, during a boost phase, gates the last stage voltage to a load coupled to the source terminal of the gating transistor without a voltage drop and, at other times, turns off to prevent charge from flowing from the load into the last stage node of the charge pump section.
Abstract:

Enables easy cleaning of the clippings, treatment wastes with detachable tray. It is provided with number of storage options during and after use, to keep the pedicure tools, cosmetics and electronic gadgets.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a new process for preparation of imidazo-tetrazine class of chemical entity useful as anticancer agent. The present invention provides a commercially and economically viable process for preparation of Temozolomide of formula (VI). Present invention also relates to an intermediate compound of formula (III) and its preparation useful in the process for preparing Temozolomide.
Abstract:
A computer program product for intersection design generation and evaluation method is provided. Intersection geometry, turning movement volume and design constraints are received from a user. All possible intersection designs are generated using iterative movement placement method provided. Intersection designs are filtered through design constraints. Total conflicting volume for each intersection designs are determined using two boundary methods provided. All intersection designs are ranked based on total conflicting volume. All possible intersection geometry, total critical volume and intersections ranks are provided to user as output.
Abstract:
An integrated circuit for monitoring components of the integrated circuit, comprising: a resource monitoring circuit configured to: track activity factors for a plurality of components of the integrated circuit; evaluate the activity factors for each of the plurality of components; determine whether an activity factor for a particular component of the plurality of components exceeds a threshold; and transmit, from the resource monitoring circuit, a signal to a software element, causing the software element to deactivate the particular component and activate an alternate component, when the activity factor for the particular component exceeds the threshold and the alternate component is available to substitute for the particular component.
Abstract:
A multi-tenant, elastically scalable cache as a service is disclosed. Embodiments of the cache service eliminate the need for applications to manage their own cache tier. The multi-tenant cache service is implemented by maintaining/creating multiple named caches in a cache cluster and mapping each tenant's cache to a named cache in the cluster. Strict quotas are enforced on cache sizes This allows caches with different replication attributes to co-exist on the same cache server, allows migration of a cache from one cluster to another for load balancing purposes, and allows a cache to inflate/deflate to meet business needs. A network load balancer is used to route cache items to servers.
Abstract:
In an embodiment, a host controller includes a clock control circuit to cause the host controller to communicate a clock signal on a clock line of an interconnect, the clock control circuit to receive an indication that a first device is to send information to the host controller and to dynamically release control of the clock line of the interconnect to enable the first device to drive a second clock signal onto the clock line of the interconnect for communication with the information. Other embodiments are described and claimed.
Abstract:
Methods and systems for providing real-time monitoring of a metal surface are provided herein. The system includes a fiber-optic cable disposed alongside a length of a wall that includes the metal surface. A laser source is attached to the fiber-optic cable to transmit light through the fiber-optic cable. An acoustic source is configured to generate acoustic signals in the metal surface, wherein the acoustic signals interact with the fiber-optic cable and influence characteristics of the light. A receiver is attached to the fiber-optic cable to detect the light. The system also includes a signal processing unit configured to determine a location of a change in the metal surface based on changes in the characteristics of the light.
Abstract:
Systems and methods for e-commerce customer support activities are provided via an analytics server, which provides real-time information concerning customer visits to an e-commerce Web site to a merchant that operates the Web site, for example via a dashboard or other user interface. The real-time information allows the merchant to monitor and optionally interact with customers visiting the Web site, for example by viewing requests for customer service and providing real-time customer service via interactive user interfaces. Real-time telemetry concerning the customer visits is provided to the analytics server, which then presents the information in meaningful fashions via the dashboard or user interfaces for review by the merchant. Merchant responses to the information is facilitated via analytics engines, customer support engines, rule engines, deal engines, recommendation engines, and other components, which may operate according to customized rule sets to implement specific customer support policies.
