Abstract: Examples of techniques for molding molded components are described herein. In an example, a molding apparatus for molding a molded component includes a first mold-half comprising a mold-facing surface, and a slider member mounted on the first mold-half and movable substantially along the mold-facing surface. The first mold-half and the slider member can form a part of a mold cavity therebetween. Further, the molding apparatus includes a second mold-half to cooperate with the first mold-half to complete the mold cavity with the first mold-half and the slider member. The slider member is movable to modify a draft angle provided in the mold cavity.

The system comprises at least one processor, a non-volatile memory comprising a basic input output system (BIOS), wherein the BIOS creates a data structure and sets up at least one verification software component executed by the processor, a controller communicatively linked to the at least one verification software component, and a memory comprising a system management memory coupled to the at least one processor and code which is executable by the processor-based system to cause the processor to validate the BIOS during a runtime of the processor-based system using the at least one verification software component and the controller.

Abstract: A printer includes an image formation portion, a feed portion, and a transfer portion. The image formation portion transfers formed first and second patterned marking agent layers from a photoconductor member onto an intermediate transfer member. The feed portion directs a portion of a foil layer to become adhered, according to the pattern, onto the first marking agent layer on the intermediate transfer member before the second marking agent layer is transferred onto, and becomes adhered to, the foil portion. The transfer portion causes transfer of the foil portion from the intermediate transfer member, via transfer of at least the second marking agent layer from the intermediate transfer member, onto a substrate.

Abstract: According to an example, a charge level of a battery detected with a processing resource communicatively coupled to the battery. In response to detecting a battery at full charge, the current full charge capacity of the battery is recorded, and an error cycle count, a design cycle count, and a full charge capacity at a last calibration are fetched. A maximum allowable battery decay level is calculated based on the error cycle count, the design cycle count, and the full charge capacity at last calibration. In an example, in the event that the current full charge capacity is less than the full charge capacity at the last calibration minus the maximum allowable battery decay level, a battery calibration alert is triggered.

Abstract: In an example implementation a method of providing multi-gesture input on a touchscreen device includes sensing a finger gesture at a touchscreen initiation area. In response to sensing the finger gesture, images of a user's eye are captured and an eye-tracking function is initiated to determine eye motion and an end gaze point of the user's eye from the images. The method includes sensing a release of the finger gesture and activating a device function associated with the end gaze point of the user's eye.
