Abstract: A display device includes a base structure, a plurality of modules coupled to the base structure, where each of the modules include a plurality of actuator assemblies. Each of the actuator assemblies is individually controllable to move the actuator assemblies between a retracted state and a plurality of extended states. A controller is coupled to each of the modules and is programmed to control the actuator assemblies to move the actuator assemblies between the retracted state and the plurality of extended states.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a process for production of glucose having purity greater than 98% from pretreated cellulosic biomass comprising 50-95% cellulose, using thermo-chemical and enzymatic treatments. The process of the disclosure involves mild acid and/or alkali treatment of the pretreated cellulosic biomass for production of treated cellulosic biomass residue comprising polysaccharides containing greater than 98% glucose. The treatment results in high purity cellulose that is highly amenable to enzymatic hydrolysis and yields glucose having purity greater than 98%. The process of the disclosure also involves membrane separation of enzymes and oligosaccharides for recycling and separation of glucose to avoid product feedback inhibition.

Abstract: A blending plan for concentrated consumable products, such as liquid food and beverage products, may be optimized by utilizing a computer device executing a software algorithm. The computing device receives one or more inputs associated with the blending of various components employed in producing quantities of a concentrated consumable product over a predetermined time interval. The computing device may be further utilized to apply constraints to each of the one or more inputs. The constraints may be utilized to enforce quality, raw material and component bounds, supply and demand requirements, product and component supply balance, capacity limitations and business rules in order to minimize costs and complexity associated with the production of a concentrated consumable product while maximizing quality, thereby optimizing the blending plan.

Abstract: This disclosure provides a method of manufacturing a polymer container according to a blow molding or stretch blow molding process, in which the base of the blow mold has at least one orifice for pressurized gas to enter the blow mold through the base. Introducing pressurized gas through the orifice in the blow mold base provides cooling assistance within the gas mold, much earlier than the cooling using conventional methods, which can reduce or eliminate the need for any post mold cooling. This method has been found to be applicable to non-hot fill application bottle and container manufacture.
