    摘要: A rotary recording medium reproducing apparatus for reproducing a rotary recording medium in which a plurality of fields of video signals are recorded for each track turn on a spiral track comprises a reproducing transducer having a reproducing element for scanning over tracks on the rotary recording medium to reproduce recorded signals, and shifting device responsive to a signal applied thereto for shifting the reproducing element towards the outer side or the inner side on the rotary recording medium, and a circuit for producing shifting a signal in order to shift the reproducing element by one track pitch towards the outer side on the rotary recording medium every time the reproducing element reaches one predetermined position on the rotary recording medium, and capable of producing a shifting signal for shifting the reproducing element towards the outer side or the inner side on the rotary recording medium according to the slow-motion ratio and the direction of the slow-motion reproduction when the reproducing element reaches another predetermined position on the rotary recording medium. The shifting signal is supplied to the shifting device. The tracks are reproduced a plurality of times with respect to each track turn, to perform a slow-motion reproduction.

    摘要: A periodical signal detection circuit is designed for use in an apparatus which reproduces an information signal and a periodical signal from a recording medium. A separation circuit separates the periodical signal from the reproduced signal. A reference pulse is generated at a repetition frequency which is the same as the frequency of the periodical signal. A first gate circuit responds to the periodical signal obtained from the separation circuit and to the reference pulse signal. A first counter produces an output by counting N of the reference pulses (N is an integer greater than or equal to 2). A second gate circuit passes the signal from the separation circuit according to the output of the first counter. An output circuit detects the signals in responsive to the reference pulse, and the output of either the first or the second gate circuit.

    摘要: An image forming apparatus includes an image bearer rotating in a first direction while bearing a toner image thereon in a normal image forming operation; a toner image forming device to form the toner image on the image bearer; a transferring device to transfer the toner image to a recording medium eventually; a cleaning blade to block toner remaining on image bearer without being transferred; and a controller. The controller controls the image bearer to perform an inverse rotation operation in which the image bearer rotates in a second direction opposite to the first direction after controlling the toner image forming device to perform a special image forming operation such that the amount of toner input to the cleaning blade in the special image forming operation is greater than the amount of toner input to the cleaning blade in the normal image forming operation, and then stopping the image bearer.

    摘要: An image forming apparatus includes a driving device, a transfer body, a toner detector, an error notification device, and a controller. The toner detector detects, at a preparation running and while the driving device drives a latent image bearer, one of a toner adhesion amount at a background portion of the latent image bearer and a toner adhesion amount at a background corresponding region of a transfer body. The error notification device notifies a user of an error with the toner adhesion being equal to or greater than a predetermined threshold value. The driving device stops only a developer bearer after driving both the latent image bearer and the developer bearer at the preparation running, but before a trailing edge of a detection target region of one of the background portion of the latent image bearer and the background corresponding region advances to an opposite position to the toner detector.

    摘要: A portable device, which performs wireless communication with a communication peer, includes a battery, which powers an electronic component, and a case, which accommodates the electronic component and battery. The case includes a battery compartment having an opening. An elastic waterproof seal surrounds the opening. A battery lid, which covers the opening, is formed integrally with the waterproof seal and coupled to the case in a direction perpendicular to a radial direction of the waterproof seal. A rim around the opening of the battery compartment pushes the waterproof seal when coupling the battery lid to the case thereby elastically deforming the waterproof seal in an inward radial direction. The waterproof seal, when elastically deformed, keeps the battery lid coupled to the case and seals the battery lid and case in a liquid-tight state.
