The present invention provides an acid anhydride ester obtained by esterifying cyclohexane-1,2,4-tricarboxylic acid-1,2-anhydride and a composition of the ester, and a heat-curable resin composition and a cured product of the composition. _Provided is an epoxy resin composition using the acid anhydride ester as a curing agent for an epoxy resin, the epoxy resin composition having, for example, the following properties (1), (2), and (3): (1) the epoxy resin composition has a low viscosity at room temperature, so the components of the composition can be favorably blended with each other, (2) the acid anhydride ester has a low vapor pressure at curing temperature, so no evaporation loss occurs after curing, and the intended design of blend is capable, and (3) a cured product to be made from the composition is colorless and transparent, and changes its color to a small extent even when the product is irradiated with light or heated for a long time period. The composition is suitably used as, for example, an encapsulant for a photoelectric conversion element such as a blue LED or a white LED, a molded article, a coating, or an adhesive.

Provided is a gas-barriering coated film obtained by coating a gas barriering layer on at least one face of a flexible film or an inorganic-deposited polymer film, wherein the above gas-barriering layer is a polyurethane resin-cured material formed from a composition comprising an active hydrogen-containing compound (A) and an organic polyisocyanate compound (B), and 20% by weight or more of a skeletal structure represented by Formula (1) is contained in the above resin-cured material. The gas-barriering coated film of the present invention is excellent in various performances such as a layer-to-layer adhesive property, a gas barriering property at a high humidity, a bending resistance and a retort treating resistance in addition to a high gas barriering property, and therefore it is applied to various uses including packing materials for food and medicines to which a high gas barriering property is required.

An object of the present invention is to provide a modified cyclic aliphatic polyamine having a low viscosity and a small content of unreacted polyamine which can provide, when it is used as a curing agent for epoxy resin, an epoxy resin composition having an improved workability without adding solvent or diluent and an excellent property of epoxy resin cure product. The above modified cyclic aliphatic polyamine is obtained by addition reaction of a cyclic aliphatic polyamine such as isophoronediamine and norbornanediamine and an alkenyl compound such as styrene. The modified cyclic aliphatic polyamine thus obtained is added in epoxy resin to be used as a curing agent for epoxy resin.

A polyisocyanate compound obtained by highly converting a bis(isocyanatomethyl)cyclohexane into a uretidione compound, a process for producing the compound, a polyisocyanate polyaddition composition obtained by polyaddition of the compound, a compound having at least two hydroxyl groups and a compound having one hydroxyl group, and a powder coating material using the composition as the curing agent. The powder coating material is advantageous for safety and health due to the absence of dissociation of blocking agents and for economy due to a content of latent NCO greater than conventional uretidione-based powder coating materials. When a curing agent obtained from the polyisocyanate compound is used in combination with a polyester polyol having 30% or greater of hydroxyl group bonded to secondary carbon atom in the entire hydroxyl group, the curing temperature is lowered and the coating film exhibits excellent gloss like solvent-based coating materials, smoothness of the surface, weatherability and mechanical properties.
