Abstract:
Described are techniques for determining whether to move data between devices. A first cost metric is determined for a first device and a second device. At least one portion of data is selected for movement from one of the first device and the second device to another of the first device and the second device. A second cost metric is determined for the first device and the second device based on moving said at least one portion of data between said first device and said second device. It is determined using the first cost metric and the second cost metric whether to move the at least one portion of data.
Abstract:
An apparatus for cleaning flip chip assemblies is provided. The apparatus comprises: a chuck assembly; a motor coupled to the chuck assembly by a spindle; at least one carrier for holding flip chips; at least one spray nozzle for directing DIW, a cleaning solution, a gas or a vapor. Apparatus of the invention further provides a method for cleaning flip chip assemblies. The method comprises: loading at least one flip chip to the flip chip carriers; rotating the chuck assembly at a rotation speed; flowing DIW for rinsing the flip chips; flowing a cleaning solution for removing the contaminants; applying ultrasonic/megasonic energy to the flip chips; blowing a gas or a vapor via the spray nozzles for drying the flip chips; bringing the flip chips out of the flip chip carriers.
Abstract:
The present invention discloses a method and a device to debug the Loongson CPU (a MIPS-structure CPU) and bridge chips. The device, including HT bus interfaces and the corresponding switches, connects the Loongson CPU and bridge chips through HT bus interfaces. Southbridge chips and northbridge chips with HT buses are selected in the following order: introducing the pins on the Loongson CPU and bridge chips into the debug device; debugging the pins on the Loongson CPU to identify whether there are any bugs with the pins; connecting the pins from the CPU and bridge chips to debug them. If the HT bus of the Loongson CPU fails to accord with the standard protocol, the problematic signal can be identified and further adjusted to improve the CPU. With the help of FPGA, multiple HT bus interfaces can be simulated. As a result, multiple chipsets can be linked to the Loongson CPU, which may be debugged simultaneously.
Abstract:
A superconducting magnet system for high power microwave source focusing and cyclotron electronic apparatus is provided, wherein, the superconducting magnet comprises an inner superconducting main coil, an outer superconducting main coil, two end compensation coils, a regulating coil and a central regulating coil. These coils are formed by coiling Nb3Sn/Cu superconducting wire. The superconducting magnet can operate off-line through solid nitrogen formed by a cryocooler and high-pressure nitrogen. The superconducting magnet and the superconducting switch constitute a closed loop, thereby achieving magnetic field stability, without outside electromagnetic interference. The superconducting magnet system can provide a magnetic field having special spatial distribution and high stability.
Abstract:

Abstract:
Disclosed is a smoke dust sampling gun with a smoke dewatering device, with one end of a connecting sleeve (17) thereof being fix connected to the rear part of a gun body (20) and the other end being connected with a smoke dewatering device, wherein the smoke dewatering device comprises a circular tube-shaped dehydrator main body (2) and a circular tube-shaped discharged water storing cabin (3), with a plurality of wave-shaped red copper cooling fins (9) for gas being arranged in parallel inside the circular tube-shaped dehydrator main body (2) along the direction of the circular tube's central axis, and a gas inlet end of the circular tube-shaped dehydrator main body (2) and a gas outlet end of the discharged water storing cabin (3) being fix connected to each other; an end face (12) of a gas outlet end of a gas inlet pipe (5) is, having passed successively through the discharged water storing cabin (3) and a top face (11) of a cone-shaped inlet hopper (13), arranged in the cone-shaped inlet hopper (13); and an inner lining (10) of the discharged water storing cabin (3) is of a tapering shape. The sampling gun is simple in structure, thereby solving the problem of the existing equipment, i.e. that sampling equipment is easily damaged during the smoke dust sampling process, and is suitable for various kinds of smoke dust sampling equipment.
Abstract:
A fixing mechanism includes a fixed member, a movable member, and a driving member. The fixed member has a first claw portion, and the movable member has a second claw portion. The movable member is movably connected to the fixed member via the driving member. The driving member is configured for moving the movable member in a direction away from the first claw portion of the fixed member. A manipulator using the fixing mechanism is also disclosed.
Abstract:
A container having a bottom section having a plurality of discrete compartments which may be sealed to prevent spilling or intermixing of contents including liquids in the compartments, sealing is accomplished by a lid having ribs, each of which is dimensioned to fit within the top portion of a compartment. A rib of resilient material surrounds each rib and is compressed when the lid is affixed to the bottom section. The lid carries a locking mechanism which when in the close position urges the central part of the lid toward the bottom section.
Abstract:
An apparatus and methods for a call routing system is disclosed whereby the call routing service provider is associated with a series of partners. By providing a system supporting not only the main user, but also the partners, efficiencies are gained through cost-spreading. Agents can be qualified to field calls for multiple business entities. Cross-selling and proactive servicing based on caller demographic and profile data can be effectuated. The system employs a centralized or global bank of shared Interactive Voice Response (IVR) units so that unnecessary post-routing and call site interflow are reduced. The system comprises a central server system that interfaces with a long distance provider so that route requests are received, caller data is retrieved from one or more databases, routing and handling strategies are developed, load balancing is effectuated, and calls are appropriately routed to one of a plurality of geographically separated call center systems with queues staffed by agents. Each call center system is designed to support various queues, and agents may be qualified or assigned to various queues based on their skill sets and skill levels.
