摘要： A desired function signal is provided by a logical circuit which selects one of a signal corresponding to the speed of a vehicle carrying an internal combustion engine, a signal corresponding to the intake pressure, a signal corresponding to the air-to-fuel ratio of the mixture supplied to the engine, and a signal corresponding to the opening of a throttle valve in accordance with the driving conditions of the vehicle. The amount of additional intake air flowing through an additional intake system provided in the engine is controlled in accordance with the desired function signal, thus providing an air-fuel mixture ratio which suits the driving conditions of the vehicle, the running speed of the vehicle in particular.

A guide section protrudes from a lower end of the main body in a direction crossing the vertical direction and includes first and second guide holes. A first unit includes a first puncture needle slidably supported by the main body near an upper end of the first puncture needle in the vertical direction and having a sharp lower end slidably inserted into the first guide hole from above. The first unit has a first holding plate integrally fixed to the first puncture needle. A second unit includes a second puncture needle slidably inserted into the second guide hole from above and a second holding plate integrally fixed to the second puncture needle. The second holding plate separably abuts on the first holding plate from above. A position of the second guide hole is selectable along the guide section.

The liquid crystal panel includes a transmitting region and a reflecting region. A part of a first surface of the liquid crystal panel is a first display surface for the transmitting region and a part of a second surface of the liquid crystal panel is a second display surface for the reflecting region. A two-sided display is provided from a single liquid crystal panel and a thin and light-weight liquid crystal display device is achieved.

A protrusion is formed in each of the dimples which are located in hit portions having a diameter of 5–15 mm, or alternatively, is formed in each of all the dimples. The protrusion has a distal end whose radial distance from the center of the golf ball is equal to the predetermined radius of the golf ball. The protrusion has a partition wall which divides a space in each dimple into a plurality of segmental spaces. The protrusion may have two partition walls which are perpendicular to each other and intersect at right angles for dividing a space in each of the dimples into four segmental spaces.
