摘要: The present invention relates to a method for producing mesoporous silica particles including a silica-containing outer shell portion with a mesoporous structure. The method includes the steps of: (I) pressurizing a mixed solution containing a hydrophobic organic compound, a surfactant, and an aqueous solvent by a high-pressure emulsification method so as to form an emulsion that includes emulsion droplets containing the hydrophobic organic compound; (II) adding a silica source to the emulsion so as to form a silica-containing outer shell portion with a mesoporous structure on a surface of the emulsion droplets, and precipitating composite silica particles including the outer shell portion and the emulsion droplets on an inner side relative to the outer shell portion; and (III) removing the emulsion droplets from the composite silica particles.According to the production method of the present invention, it is possible to produce easily mesoporous silica particles that have a small average particle size and include fewer coarse particles. Thus, the mesoporous silica particles produced by this method are useful in fields that handle a paint composition for an antireflection film and a coating film.

摘要: The present invention discloses an apparatus 100 that provides an order separator 330 for photographic order fulfillment. The present invention includes one or more output print devices 110 that print one or more photographic prints 320 of a photographic order 402/404/406 using photographic paper 300. Additionally included is a separator print 330 that is a sheet of photographic paper 300 that is larger than the photographic prints 302 of the photographic order 402/404/406. The present invention further includes a system controller 102 that controls the utilization of the photographic paper 300 of the output print devices 110 for the photographic prints 320. The system controller 102 controls whether to create the separator print 330 or the photographic prints 320. The individual separator print 330 creates a tab 401/403/405 separating different photographic orders 402/404/406 of the photographic prints when multiple photographic orders 400 are stacked together.

摘要: A printer (103) belongs to a service set (107) and communicates via an access point (101) in the infrastructure mode. The printer (103) searches for a beacon periodically. If a beacon is received from a terminal such as a digital camera (104), the printer registers the terminal address, service-set identifier and communication mode, which are contained in the beacon, in a function table. The printer sends each terminal, which has been registered in the function table, a frame that is for searching for a terminal that has a required function. If the response to the frame is positive, then the printer registers the fact that the search succeeded in the function table. A similar function search is conducted also by a digital camera (104) for which a print command has been issued, and the digital camera creates a function table. If there is a terminal (a printer) having the required function, the digital camera (104) transmits print data to this terminal.

摘要: A mail address of an automobile is obtained. The automobile is anthropomorphized as a friend of a driver by an AI function. The anthropomorphized automobile transmits a mail to the driver. Various types of information are automatically collected during driving of the automobile. With the collected information, a drive diary is generated. The drive diary is processed on a Web. An original homepage is generated with the processed drive diary. There is provided an service in which the automobile and a home, office or the like of the driver is connected through the homepage for user's enjoyment.

摘要: An electric vacuum cleaner including a suction tool main body, a vacuum cleaner main body which communicates to the suction tool main body, and a dust colleector provided at the vacuum cleaner main body. The dust collector includes a dust collection container, a tubular body disposed at substantially a central portion of the dust collection container in a vertical direction, a collar portion which is formed to project towards an inner wall on the dust collection container, vent holes which are piercingly provided at the tubular body, and an intake which opens at the dust collection container. The flow passage of air which extends from the central portion of the tubular body on a bottom portion of the dust collection container to the vent holes can be made long so that it is possible to exhibit the effect that the amount of stirred up dust reaching the vent holes can be reduced.
