    摘要: An optical recording method in which an effective recording sensitivity in the recording of image information on a photosensitive material is raised, whereby a productivity is enhanced owing to lowered energy (laser power) required for the recording or a heightened recording speed. An image is recorded by projecting a light beam onto the photosensitive material formed on a base material backing. The optical recording method includes the steps of: (a) successively outputting pulse light whose duty factor is at most 50%, from a light source; (b) modulating the pulse light output from the light source, in accordance with an image signal, and then projecting the modulated pulse light onto the photosensitive material; and (c) recording the image by causing the pulse light to scan the photosensitive material.

    摘要: An etalon is disposed in a resonator of a laser to make the laser oscillate in a single longitudinal mode. Opposite end faces of the etalon through which light travels are provided with coating by ion-assisted deposition to prevent output fluctuations of the laser due to changes in environmental moisture and/or aging of the laser. Preferably the coating is of HfO.sub.2 and SiO.sub.2. In accordance with a second aspect of the present invention, there is provided a single longitudinal mode laser comprising a resonator and an etalon which is disposed in the resonator to make the laser oscillate in a single longitudinal mode, wherein the improvement comprises that opposite end faces of the etalon through which light travels are provided with coating by ion-assisted deposition. Further, the resonator may be contained in an airtight casing.

    摘要: An image is formed in a color photosensitive material through scanning exposure by using at least one semiconductor laser excited solid laser including a semiconductor laser, a non-linear optical element and means for controlling the temperature thereof as a light source for producing a laser beam. The laser beam is modulated by an external modulator in accordance with the image to be formed. Among the combinations of photosensitive layers and laser beams, at least two laser beam light sources are such that a laser beam has a wavelength falling within .+-.20 nm from the maximum wavelength in the spectral sensitivity distribution of the corresponding photosensitive layer. Each photosensitive layer has a spectral sensitivity distribution with a peak width of up to 40 nm. The method enables to form an image in a conventional silver halide photosensitive material having spectral sensitivity in the visible region using a cost effective light source, the resulting image having color generated to a satisfactory density, free of a density variation, and hence of high quality.

    摘要: A printer has a feeding path for guiding a printing paper from and toward an opening of the printer. A cross-sectional shape of the feeding path is minimized to be sufficient to pass the printing paper through the feeding path. At least one resonator is arranged in the feeding path. The resonator has a case defining a resonant chamber and holes formed on the case along with the feeding path. The resonant chamber communicates with the feeding path through the holes. Noises such as impact sound generated by a printing head of the printer are silenced by the resonator at frequencies around a resonance fequency of the resonator, and further silenced by the area reduced portion of the feeding path.
