摘要: A fuel supply apparatus suppresses bubble generation of fuel in a delivery pipe and fuel leakage while suppressing power consumption. The fuel supply apparatus includes a fuel supply controller which is provided with a state determining unit that determines at least one of bubble generation of fuel in the delivery pipe and fuel leakage from a fuel injection valve to which fuel is supplied via the delivery pipe, and a fuel pressure controlling unit that activates a fuel feeding unit when the bubble generation is expected and activates a fuel pressure decreasing unit when the fuel leakage is expected. The fuel supply controller intermittently activates during the suspension of the operation of internal combustion engine using a timer, to adjust fuel pressure in the delivery pipe.

摘要: A fuel supply apparatus includes: a low-pressure fuel system applying pressure to a fuel in a fuel tank by using a first low-pressure pump and supplying the fuel to port fuel injection valves; a high-pressure fuel system applying pressure to the fuel in the fuel tank by using a second low-pressure pump, applying further pressure to the fuel by using a high-pressure pump driven by an internal combustion engine, and supplying the fuel to in-cylinder fuel injection valves; and an ECU controlling actuation of at least the first low-pressure pump and the second low-pressure pump in accordance with an operation state of the internal combustion engine. As the low-pressure fuel system and the high-pressure fuel system are independent of each other, pulsation generated from the high-pressure pump does not propagate to the port fuel injection valves.

摘要: A fuel supplying apparatus has a fuel pump for pumping fuel stored in a fuel tank. The fuel pump supplies fuel from the fuel tank to outside the fuel tank via a take-up portion having a fuel take-up opening that opens in the fuel in the fuel tank and a gas take-up opening that opens in a space formed above the fuel liquid surface in the fuel tank. Fuel vapor formed in the fuel tank can be supplied to outside the fuel tank without being released to the atmosphere, by using a minimal number of component elements.

摘要: A high-pressure fuel supply system has a reservoir for supplying high-pressure fuel to fuel injectors, a low-pressure pump that withdraws fuel from a fuel tank and that discharges fuel at a pressure substantially equal to or higher than a predetermined pressure since the starting of an internal combustion engine, a high-pressure pump for force-feeding high-pressure fuel to the reservoir, a pressure booster that boosts a pressure of fuel in the reservoir when starting the internal combustion engine, and a fuel passage that allows fuel to flow only from the fuel tank to the reservoir so as to prevent fuel vapors from being generated in the reservoir while the engine is out of operation. Thus, it becomes possible to reliably boost a pressure in the reservoir when starting the internal combustion engine.

摘要: A high-pressure fuel supply system and method are used with an internal combustion engine that includes a pressure raising mechanism operable to raise a pressure in a high-pressure portion of the fuel supply system to a level suitable for starting the engine, and a high-pressure pump operable to raise the pressure in the high-pressure portion to a target level that is higher than the above level after the engine is started. When the pressure in the high-pressure portion reaches the level suitable for starting the engine, a pressure wall of the pressure raising mechanism displaces over only a part of its displacement range that ranges from an original position to a maximum displacement position, so that the pressure wall will be able to further displace toward the maximum displacement position so as to raise the pressure in the high-pressure portion when the engine is re-started after the engine is stopped before the pressure wall is returned to the original position.

摘要: A card conveyance control method and apparatus that allow a card held by a plurality of conveying rollers to be conveyed and securely mounted at the proper position on a conveying platform. The conveying rollers of the first conveyer unit, which holds and conveys an optical card, are rotated in the conveying direction of the optical card, and the card conveying platform of the second conveyer unit is moved in the direction of the first conveyer unit so as to press the leading edge of the optical card conveyed from the first conveyer unit against the back edge of the conveying platform; the conveying platform of the second conveyer unit is then moved in the opposite direction from the first conveyer unit while the conveying rollers of the first conveyer unit are rotated in the conveying direction of the optical card; and this operation is repeated several times.

摘要: In a method of controlling the transmission of a downgoing control signal, a mobile terminal detects the presence of radio wave of a downgoing control signal in each time slot in response to an inquiry signal received from a base station. The mobile terminal generates an answer signal indicating the time positions of radio waves received within a predetermined interval, and transmits the answer signal to the base apparatus. The base apparatus, receiving the radio condition answer signal, detects time differences between the downgoing control signal sent by the base apparatus itself and other downgoing control signals sent by other base apparatuses. If at least one time difference becomes lower than a predetermined threshold, the base apparatus changes the transmission timing of the downgoing control signal such that the time difference becomes larger than the threshold.

摘要: A cordless telephone system includes a master unit permanently connected to a wire telephone line, and a plurality of subsidiary units connected to the master unit by radio. A calling subsidiary unit includes a transmitter for transmitting a signal for requesting speech communication with another called subsidiary unit to the master unit through a radio channel which is monitored by the master unit, and a transmitter for transmitting a signal for calling the called subsidiary unit to the called subsidiary unit through a speech communication channel through which direct speech communication with the called subsidiary unit can be performed. The master unit includes a transmitter for receiving the signal for requesting speech communication from the calling subsidiary unit and transmitting a signal for requesting direct speech communication between the subsidiary units to the called subsidiary unit through a radio channel which is monitored by the called subsidiary unit. The called subsidiary unit includes transmitter which is started upon reception of the signal for requesting direct speech communication from the master unit, and receives the signal for calling the called subsidiary unit from the calling subsidiary unit through the speech channel.
