    摘要: A semiconductor integrated circuit device includes a pulse width expander circuit for expanding the pulse width of a pulse signal of the ECL (emitter coupled logic) level that has a very narrow pulse width, a level conversion circuit for converting the output signal of the ECL level of the pulse width expander circuit into a CMOS (complementary metal oxide semiconductor) level, and an internal circuit that is so connected as to receive the output signal of the level conversion circuit. In other words, the pulse signal having a narrow pulse width is expanded to have a pulse width which is sufficient for the level conversion circuit prior to performing the level conversion operation. Therefore, the level of the pulse signals having narrow pulse widths is stably converted.

    摘要: A camera including an electronic focus detecting device and an optical display device for indicating whether the photographing lens of the camera is at a rear focus position, a front focus position or a correct focus position and for indicating whether the lens is being moved in the correct direction towards the position of correct focus. First and second photoelectric conversion element arrays are disposed in front of and behind a position which is optically equivalent to the position of the film surface in the camera. Signals are produced from the respective outputs of the arrays which are in proportion to the degree of focus than existing. A different signal is produced as well and the three signals are then processed to determine the indicated positions in a disclosed circuit arrangement.

    摘要: An inhomogeneous optical layer is formed on a surface of a substrate in a vacuum coater, in which the substrate is moved along a travelling path having path sections and a substance is evaporated from its source and deposited on the surface while the deposited substance is exposed to gas which is able to react on the substance. In such an operation, the deposition rate of the substance is varied monotonously along the path in each of the path section in order that, in a layer formed by the deposition on the substrate, the content of the substance and that of the reaction product are varied monotonously in the direction of thickness. If the refractive index of the substance is different from that of the reaction product, the resultant refractive index in the layer is varied monotonously in the direction of the thickness of the layer.

    摘要: A construction is disclosed of a magnetic transducer having a built-in step-up transformer. A ring head portion of the transducer consists of a ring head core defining a substantially closed magnetic path including a front non-magnetic gap and an internal winding aperture, and of a signal winding disposed on the ring head core so as to be interlinked with the magnetic path of the ring head core. A transformer portion of the transducer is mounted at a rear plane of the ring head core and consists of a transformer core, a primary winding, a secondary winding and a rear portion of the ring head core. The transformer core includes a central yoke, at least one peripheral yoke and a linkage yoke. The central yoke and the peripheral yoke are connected with each other at one end by the linkage yoke and at the other end by the rear portion of the ring head core. The primary and the secondary windings are disposed on the transformer core encompassing the central yoke in a coaxial manner, so as to form a shell-type transformer. The ring head portion is coupled to the transformer portion by connecting the signal winding to the primary winding.

    摘要: An automatic focus detecting device for a camera including a self-scanning type photoelectric conversion element array. The array is operated in two modes, a brightness detecting mode and a focus detecting mode. In the brightness detecting mode, the individual light detecting elements are connected in parallel with one another and to a brightness detection module. Once the brightness detection has been made, the scanning frequency of the array is set in accordance with the brightness value detected. The photodiode elements are then coupled in serial fashion to a focus detecting module. The position of the lens is varied until the focus detecting module indicates that the proper focalization position has been reached.

    摘要: An electric typewriter having a prevention mechanism for preventing printing errors caused by a depression of a few keys in very rapid succession. The prevention mechanism includes a lock member for locking a clutch, which is interposed between a drive motor and a printing mechanism, in a disengaged condition. The lock member is normally held in a non-operational position for allowing the clutch to be engaged, and is moved in response to a special operation of a sensing member to an operational position for keeping the clutch in a disengaged condition. The sensing member is so disposed as to be moved in a distinct way different from the normal operation mode when a few keys have been depressed in very rapid succession.

    摘要: A single element print head having an apparatus for firmly and releasably attaching itself to the drive shaft of a typewriter. The body of the print head is provided with a central opening therethrough for receipt of the drive shaft. A cap is secured on the body around one end of the opening with the purpose of slidably holding a manual slide member in its guide recess and fixedly holding a base portion of a hair pin shaped spring in its holding groove. The spring has a pair of arms for firmly fastening therebetween, and for releasing the drive shaft by virtue of its resilience and the action of a pair of cam surfaces. The pair of cam surfaces are formed in the bottom portion of the slide member, diverging from one end to the other end like a front portion of a bullet, for expanding the arms from each other to release the arms from the drive shaft by means of the slide movement of the slide member.
