摘要:
A distortion compensation circuit including a configurable delay may be used with one or more non-linear elements, such as a laser, to compensate for distortion generated by the non-linear element(s), for example, in broadband RF applications. Embodiments of the distortion compensation circuit may include a primary signal path with a configurable delay segment and a secondary signal path including at least one distortion generator. The configurable delay segment may be selectively configured to provide different delay settings to accommodate different RF loading conditions such that the delayed RF signal on the primary signal path is aligned with the distortion products generated on the secondary signal path when combined to form an RF signal with distortion compensation.

A method, a device and a system for evaluating network reliability are disclosed in the embodiments of the present invention. The method includes: determining an analysis object by acquiring network topology information; acquiring a network failure mode of the analysis object; and analyzing and evaluating reliability of the analysis object in a hierarchical and overall way with respect to the failure mode. As the concept of a hierarchical analysis is introduced into the analysis, analysis properties of analysis objects (for example, a node and a connection) are divided according to hierarchies, so that the network is effectively decomposed, an overall decomposing analysis is ensured, and the difficulty of the analysis is reduced.

A sensor, and methods of making, for determining the concentration of an analyte, such as glucose, in a biological fluid such as blood or serum, using techniques such as coulometry, amperometry, and potentiometry. The sensor includes a working electrode and a counter electrode, and may include an insertion monitoring trace to determine correct positioning of the sensor in a connector. The sensor is calibration-adjusted, eliminating the need for a user to enter a calibration code or for the meter to read a calibration code.

Apparatus, systems and methods for performing gel electrophoresis using a horizontal monolithic electrophoresis unit that at least includes first and second buffer chambers containing buffer solution and a gel chamber containing a pre-cast flat gel, whereby all of these chambers are integrated into a pre-fabricated single unit that is ready for use. In performing gel electrophoresis, a top seal of this monolithic electrophoresis unit is removed, target samples are loaded into the pre-cast gel, interior walls of the unit are broken to allow buffer from anode and cathode chambers to combine within the gel chamber and cover the loaded gel matrix, a reusable lid is attached to the top surface of the unit, and an electrical connection is provided through the reusable lid into the horizontal monolithic electrophoresis unit for performing electrophoresis on the flat pre-cast gel.

A Virtual Router (VR) is described that can move freely from one physical router to another in a network. Embodiments enable a network operator to configure a network management primitive that supports live migration of VRs from one physical router to another. To minimize disruptions, VRs allow a migrated control plane from a source router to clone its data plane state from the source router at a destination router while continuing to update its data plane state at the source router. Embodiments temporarily forward packets using both router location data planes to support asynchronous migration of links.
