    摘要: A hollow shaft composed of individual tube portions and provided with cams and end pieces, the individual tube portions preferably being interconnected by plastic expansion of the inner elements and elastic expansion of the outer elements. It is also possible to achieve a connection by shrinking the outer elements onto the inner ones by soldering or welding. Sleeves interconnecting the drive elements are designed to be integral with them and form part of the hollow shaft so that considerable weight savings are achieved by avoiding doubled regions where parts are slid onto each other. The design is particularly suitable for connecting parts with distinctly different elastic properties such as steel tubes and malleable cast iron drive elements.

The honeycomb structure includes at least one at least partially structured metallic layer forming connecting points which fix the honeycomb structure. A cross section of the honeycomb structure has radial zones with connecting points. At least 1% and at most 20% of inner contact points of the at least one at least partially structured metallic layer in at least one of the zones forms a connecting point in the cross section. The channels have a different channel cross section in at least two of the radial zones. A motor vehicle having the honeycomb body is also provided.

    摘要: An assembly includes a honeycomb body secured by an inner casing tube in a housing, in particular a housing of an exhaust system of an internal combustion engine. The inner casing tube has an overall length which is bounded axially by two edges and is substantially smaller than the axial length of the honeycomb body. The inner casing tube is also disposed in an approximately axially central position around the honeycomb body and is connected, in particular brazed, thereto in at least one axial connection region. The inner casing tube has a region within the axial connection region in which it is connected to the honeycomb body on the inside or attached directly adjacent the latter on the outside and is connected to the housing. Regions of the inner casing tube which are not connected to the housing but are connected to the honeycomb body toward the inside are constructed as radially elastic spring elements. In this way, a resilient attachment, which adapts to deformations of the honeycomb body, is produced without tearing. That is advantageous in particular in the case of honeycomb bodies made of very thin sheet-metal layers, in particular thinner than 0.03 mm.

    摘要: A system and a method are provided for determining a pollutant concentration of an exhaust gas at a first position of an exhaust-gas system of an internal combustion engine. A sensor for determining the pollutant concentration is placed at a second position, downstream of the first position, in the exhaust-gas system. The sensor records a measured value, which is then transmitted to a time function element taking into account the time delay between recording a measured value at the first and second positions and transmitting the measured value, temporally correlated with other undelayed measured values, to a diagnosis unit. Sensitive gas sensors can thus be placed at cooler positions of the exhaust-gas system that are less exposed to vibration and can nevertheless determine the pollutant concentration at another position.
