摘要: A switching apparatus for relaying packet communication through a communication network between a plurality of servers and clients, at the time of relaying a packet to be transmitted from the server to the client, rewrites header information of the packet in question to have the contents to be set when the packet in question is transmitted from the switching apparatus and sends the rewritten packet to the client and from the time of relaying a data acquisition request from the client until the end of transmission of a packet of an acknowledgement to be transmitted from the server to the client, conducts one-way splicing in the direction from the server in question to the client in question, as well as successively conducting retransmission control and flow control with respect to communication from the client to the server.

摘要: In a vehicle for off-road use, an engine is mounted on a lower portion of a body frame, a carburetor is attached to the engine, and a main air cleaner is attached to the carburetor. The carburetor is provided with an air vent unit attached thereto, for transferring atmospheric pressure to fuel in a float chamber in the carburetor, and a supplemental air cleaner is attached to the tip of the air vent unit. The supplemental air cleaner is disposed above the engine, and above and anterior to the carburetor and the main air cleaner. Since the supplemental air cleaner is substantially covered, from below, by the internal combustion engine, the carburetor, and the main air cleaner, fluids splashed up from a road surface can be blocked by these components, so that the supplemental air cleaner is substantially prevented from being exposed to splashed fluids.

摘要: A premixed air-fuel mixture supply device is joined to a combustor liner included in a combustor for a gas turbine or an aircraft engine. The premixed air-fuel mixture supply device has a pilot fuel injection unit having an inner wall, and a prevaporizing, premixing main fuel injection unit having an outer wall surrounding the inner wall. A combustion air passage is defined by the inner and the outer wall. An intermediate wall is disposed in the combustion air passage so as to divide an upstream part of the combustion air passage into a secondary combustion air passage surrounding the inner wall, and an outer combustion air passage surrounding the intermediate wall. Fuel inject holes are formed in the intermediate wall to inject fuel radially outward into the outer combustion air passage. A swirling device is disposed in the secondary combustion air passage to swirl combustion air flowing through the secondary combustion air passage. An atomization lip is formed in a tail part of the intermediate wall.

摘要: In a magnetic tape drive for a single-reel type magnetic tape cartridge having a leader block coupled to a leading end of a magnetic tape wound therein, a hub for winding the tape pulled out of the cartridge is disposed at rear side of a magnetic head unit for writing data on and reading data from the tape, and has a radial slot formed therein for receiving the leader block of the tape threaded through the unit. The rotational direction of the hub is determined such that the leader block is subjected to an radially-inward force in the slot of the hub at the beginning of a rotational movement of the hub, whereby slippage of the leader block from the slot of the hub can be prevented. A flat flexible printed-circuit cable is used in the drive to establish an electrical connection between a magnetic head of the unit and an amplifier printed-circuit board thereof, and includes a flexible plate having circuit patterns formed on the side faces thereof and connected to each other by through-holes formed therein, and connectors provided on the side faces of the plate and disposed at the ends thereof. The plate is symmetrically shaped with respect to a geometrical center thereof, and the connectors are symmetrically disposed thereto.
