摘要: A solar cell encapsulated with an encapsulating material which is a non-crystalline or low-crystalline α-olefin-based copolymer or its composition (I). The composition (C) can contain 50 to 100 parts by weight of non-crystalline α-olefin polymer (A) which meets the following requirements: (a) the α-olefin having 3 to 20 carbon atoms is not less than 20 mol %, (b) practically no melt peak as measured by a differential scanning calorimeter is observed, and (c) the Mw/Mn is not more than 5, and 50 to 0 parts by weight of crystalline α-olefin polymer (B) (the total of (A) and (B) being 100 parts by weight). The non-crystalline or low-crystalline α-olefin copolymer may also have a crystallinity of not higher than 40% as measured by use of X rays.

摘要: A check valve (fluid on-off valve device) capable of attaining high sealability in either case where a differential pressure is high or low, comprises a valve body assembly (valve body) contacting and separating from a valve seat portion for communicating and blocking a fluid passage. The valve body assembly comprises a valve body, a low-pressure seal portion constituted out of soft material and a high-pressure seal portion constituted out of harder material than the low-pressure seal portion. In blocking a fluid passage, when a differential pressure between an upstream path and a downstream path in the fluid passage is relatively low, the low-pressure seal portion comes into close contact with a protrusion to block the fluid passage, while when the differential pressure is relatively high, the low-pressure seal portion is compressively deformed by the differential pressure and the high-pressure seal portion comes into close contact with the valve seat body, thus blocking the fluid passage.

摘要: There is disclosed a valve assembly for a gas container capable of appropriately discharging a gas from the gas container, even if a valve of a discharge passage has a failure or the like. The valve assembly for the gas container disposed at the gas container has, as passages which allow the inside of the gas container to communicate with the outside, a filling passage which fills the gas container with the gas and a discharge passage which discharges the gas. Furthermore, the valve assembly has a filling-side valve disposed at the filling passage and configured to close this passage, a discharge-side valve disposed at the discharge passage and configured to close this passage, a communication path which connects a downstream side of the discharge-side valve to a downstream side of the filling-side valve, and a shut-off valve disposed at the communication path. When the discharge-side valve does not open due to the failure or the like, the shut-off valve is opened to allow the gas to flow through the filling passage, the communication path and the discharge passage in this order.

摘要: A polytrimethylene terephthalate preoriented package, formed of wound layers and weighing 2 kilograms or more, of a poly (trimethylene terephthalate), in which the yarn package satisfies the following conditions (1), (2) and (3): (1) a difference in diameters between the edge portions and middle portion of the package is in a range from 0 to 5 mm; (2) a difference in dry thermal shrinking stress values between the yarn laid at the end portions and the yarn at the middle portion of the package is 0.01 cN/dtex or less; and (3) a yarn size evenness variation value U % is 1.5% or less, and a coefficient of variance of periodicity of yarn size variation is 0.4 or less, both as measured when the wound preoriented yarn is being unwound from the package. The preoriented yarn package according to the invention is formed of a wound preoriented yarn which has substantially no differential thermal shrinking stress values between the yarn wound (accumulated) at the edge portions in the package and the yarn wound at the middle portion in the package. The present yarn package enables production of a dyed woven or knitted fabric with soft hand, which is substantially free from the occurrence of periodical uneven dyeing.

摘要: The invented process produces sorbic acid by hydrolysis of a polyester in the presence of an acid, which polyester is obtained from ketene and crotonaldehyde. The process includes the step of subjecting a decomposition reaction mixture of the polyester to solid-liquid separation at temperatures ranging from 30° C. to 60° C. to yield sorbic acid as a solid. The process may further include the step of rinsing the sorbic acid obtained by solid-liquid separation with an aqueous solution containing sorbic acid, which aqueous solution is formed in a purification process of sorbic acid subsequent to the solid-liquid separation. The invented process can easily and efficiently remove tar substances by-produced in the reaction and can mitigate loads on a purification process.
