摘要: A method is performed by a wireless device for transmitting PDCP packets over a multi-hop path to a receiver, in accordance with particular embodiments. The method begins with receiving PDCP signalling indicating that at least one transmitted PDCP packet has not been received. For example, the PDCP signalling may comprise a PDCP status PDU, or may comprise PDCP data recovery or PDCP re-establishment RRC signalling. In response to receiving the PDCP signalling indicating that at least one transmitted PDCP packet has not been received, the wireless device retransmits the at least one transmitted PDCP packet that has not been received, even if said transmitted PDCP packet has been acknowledged by a lower protocol layer. A method is also performed by a network node in accordance with particular embodiments.

摘要: A method of operating a wireless device that is configured to perform a timing measurement procedure that involves transmission of a reference signal during a timing measurement period is disclosed. The method includes determining that the wireless device is configured for antenna port switching of an antenna port configuration for transmitting the reference signal during the timing measurement period, and in response to determining that the wireless device is configured for antenna port switching of the antenna port configuration for transmitting the reference signal during the timing measurement period, adapting at least one of the timing measurement procedure during the timing measurement period and a configuration for antenna port switching of the antenna port configuration for transmitting the reference signal during the timing measurement period.

摘要: The technology described in this case facilitates random access by a user terminal with a radio base station. A user terminal determines one of a first type of uplink scrambling sequences and generates a random access message using the determined one of the first type of uplink scrambling sequences. The random access message is transmitted to the base station. The user terminal receives from the base station a second, different type of uplink scrambling sequence and uses it for subsequent communication with the radio base station. For example, the first uplink scrambling sequences may be specifically associated with the radio base station's cell area or a random access radio channel associated with the radio base station, but they are not specifically assigned to any user terminal, and the second uplink scrambling sequence may be selected from a second set of uplink scrambling sequences specifically assignable to individual user terminals.

摘要: A method and apparatus are disclosed for configuration of resynchronization signal (RSS) in a radio network. In one embodiment, a wireless device (WD) is configured to determine a deployment alternative for a resynchronization signal (RSS) in the radio network, the determining of the deployment alternative including determining whether a time-frequency resource used for an the RSS in a second cell in the radio network is a same time-frequency resource as a time-frequency resource used for the RSS in the first cell. The WD is also configured to determine information about the RSS time-frequency resource used in the second cell in the radio network based at least in part on the determined deployment alternative, and to detect the RSS in the second cell using the determined information about the RSS time-frequency resource used for the RSS in the second cell.

摘要: Embodiments include methods, for a user equipment (UE), to monitor for wake-up signals (WUS)transmitted by a network node in a radio access network (RAN). The methods include determining a second WUS resource for use during a first monitoring occasion associated with a WUS group assigned to the UE, based on the following: an identifier of a first WUS resource, wherein the first and second WUS resources are part of a first number of configured WUS resources for transmission of WUS; the first number of configured WUS resources; and a system frame number (SFN) or hyper-SFN (HSFN) associated with the RAN. The methods also include monitoring for a WUS, from the network node, in the second WUS resource during the first monitoring occasion. Embodiments also include complementary methods for a network node, and UEs and network nodes configured to perform such methods.
