Abstract:
The present invention provides an improved pump assembly incorporating a liquid pump and an air pump and which pump includes a flexible annular diaphragm member coaxially about a piston-forming element forming a component with the liquid pump.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a device (1) intended to contain and dispense a cosmetic substance (2), said device (1) comprising: •a container (3) that forms a 5 leaktight volume (4) having an orifice (5) through which the cosmetic substance (2) is introduced so as to be stored temporarily in said leaktight volume (4); •a closure means (6) for shutting off said orifice (5) in the container (3); characterized in that said closure means (6) has: •a detection member (7) for detecting actuation of said closure means (6) with a view to taking said cosmetic 10 substance (2); •a communications interface (8) for transmitting the information output by said detection member (7) to an external data server (12).
Abstract:
A pump for a receptacle (10), in particular a bottle intended to contain a cosmetic product. The pump (1) has a pumping chamber (8) with a variable volume defined at least partly by a deformable membrane (3). The pump (1) functioning by varying the volume of the chamber (8) by elastic deformation of the membrane (3) between an initial state in which the chamber (8) has a maximum volume and a deformed state in which the volume of the chamber (8) is minimum. The chamber (8) being provided with an inlet orifice (22) and an outlet orifice for the product. The pump (1) has a means for deforming the membrane configured to exert a pressure on the membrane (3) and a guide rod (20) passing through the membrane (3). The membrane (3) slides along the rod (20) when it undergoes said deformation.
Abstract:
A contents dispensing pump is coupled to a container for accommodating the contents therein and dispenses a fixed quantity of the contents through a pumping operation. A push button that is depressed deforms a deformed pressing member, reducing the volume of a temporary reservoir and increasing pressure therein. A valve plate closes a contents outlet and a valve protrusion wheel is widened by the increased pressure such that the contents contained in the temporary reservoir are dispensed through an outlet.
Abstract:
Foaming cartridge for use with a foam pump, refill unit or foam dispenser includes a housing and a foaming stage disposed within the housing. The foaming stage includes two or more mix media located within the foaming stage. At least two of the mix media are sponges and the sponges have different porosities.
Abstract:
A pump 1 for dispensing a cosmetic product, having a pump body 10 and a diaphragm 20. The pump body 10 and the diaphragm 20 are rigidly interconnected and together define an interior space 19 in the pump 1. The pump 1 is equipped with an intake valve 222, which is designed to regulate the intake of the cosmetic product into said interior space 19. The pump 115 is equipped with an outlet valve 201, which is designed to regulate the expulsion of the cosmetic product from said interior space 19. The dispensing pump 1 is designed such that the diaphragm 20 being pushed down causes the intake valve 222 to close and the outlet valve 201 to open, and such that the diaphragm 20 being released causes the outlet valve 201 to close and the intake valve 222 to open.
Abstract:
A device comprising a body including a first polymer and a closure including a second polymer that is substantially not bondable to the first polymer and has a relatively higher shrinkage rate than the first polymer, wherein at least a portion of the closure overlaps at least a portion of the body, forming a hermetic seal therebetween and defining a sealed, empty, sterile container.
Abstract:
A pump for dispensing fluid includes a dome portion for storing the fluid received through a pump inlet. The dome portion is movable between a compressed state and an uncompressed state. The pump includes a flexible membrane having a first pliability when a first voltage is applied and a second pliability when a second voltage is applied. The pump includes a first biasing device that applies a first force in a first direction to the flexible membrane. The flexible membrane moves the dome portion from the uncompressed state to the compressed state. The pump includes a second biasing device that applies a second force in a second direction to the dome portion to move the dome portion from the compressed state to the uncompressed state when the flexible membrane has the second pliability. Alternatively, the dome portion moves in the second direction in response to a gravitational force.
Abstract:
A piston structure of a pumping-type cosmetic container. The piston structure includes two pistons which come into close contact with an inner wall of a container body and are overlapped. During a pumping operation, a first piston firstly ascends to a certain section and then lifts up a second piston located on the lower part thereof such that the first piston and the second piston ascend together; thus, it is possible to reduce the volume taken up by the pistons when the contents are initially filled, while the thickness for a normal operation of the pistons is still maintained, so that relatively more contents for the same volume can be filled in the same container.
Abstract:
A fluid material dispensing kit including a pouch, provided with a flexible casing and a dispensing case provided with a cover that is to be mounted onto a base. The cover includes an upper recess that has a manually flexibly deformable wall mounted thereon. The wall has a dispensing opening, and the cover is provided with a lower reinforcement that defines, with the wall, a pumping chamber. The reinforcement has a supply opening. The distribution opening and supply opening are provided with, respectively, an output valve and an input valve. The pouch has, built therein, a coupling provided with a well that is sealably covered by the casing of the pouch, and the reinforcement includes a nipple that is to be placed into the well. The nipple is set up so as to enable the perforation of the casing during the placement thereof into the well.
