摘要: A cylinder shock assembly comprising a damper with a first end, and a second end that extends into an air cylinder float. The damper has a rod positioned in the air cylinder float with one end positioned within a cavity of the damper and another end affixed to an end cap attached to the air cylinder float. A primary coil spring is positioned within the air cylinder float, wherein when a load applied to the cylinder shock assembly is increased, an end of the damper move towards the end cap compressing air within the air cylinder float, wherein as the load is increased the primary coil spring is compressed and the volume of air within the air cylinder decreases resulting in an increased air pressure, and wherein the air cylinder float is a solid member that does not expand as the air pressure within increases during compression.

A spring and a shock absorber are arranged in a common housing coaxially. 摘要: An independent steering axle suspension for vehicles which consists of a frame bracket, a pin which is fixed to the frame bracket, a support member which can rotate and translate on the pin, a stub axle which is fixed to the support member, and one or more spring members located between the pin and the support member. The spring supports the weight of the vehicle and reduces the intensity of forces caused by uneven road surfaces, but it is not required to position the axle horizontally.

摘要: A motor vehicle suspension unit with a device for varying the static load of the suspension, comprising a pair of elements telescopically guided one within the other and a spring resting with its opposing ends on stops rigid with the one and other of the telescopic elements respectively. One of the stops consists of a sleeve able to be rotated coaxially to one telescopic element and provided with cam means for its axial positioning in accordance with the angular position assumed. The sleeve comprises peripherally a plurality of axial notches. A pair of ring elements is supported on the ring. One sleeve is provided with a radial lever and an axial projection arranged to penetrate into one of the notches and the other acts as a support for a spring urging the projection into one of the axial notches. The ring is disengageable from the sleeve to rotate the lever into a position in which it does not cause trouble for the passenger.
