The invention relates to a system to control the motor drive of a garage door panel which is reciprocatingly movable and guided along a predetermined track between two end positions, and possibly, one or more intermediate stop positions, said garage door panel including a switching device which indicates the assumption of the respective end position or stop positions, the output signals of this switching device being usable to switch off the power supply to the drive motor, wherein the limit switches or reference point switches are actuatable through rotatable cams which simulate the garage door path. According to the invention, both the rotating cams as well as the limit switches are combined to form one constructional unit.

A hinge apparatus for a cover of an image forming apparatus has a hinge body with supporting brackets, movably inserted into a coupling hole positioned in a main body of the image forming apparatus, a hinge cam connected to the cover and pivotably connected to the supporting brackets, and a pressure device disposed at the hinge body to press the hinge cam. Accordingly, the hinge apparatus can be implemented with a simple and easy assembly operation, since it is not a complicated structural connection among the component parts of the hinge apparatus.

Electrically operated folding operable walls controlled by an electrical operation circuit of the type having a key switch, a control panel, an extend limit, a stack limit, control relays and a motor. The invention consists of a mechanism designed to provide safety during the operation of said folding walls by sensing a person with dual stage detector that will sense a person directly in the operable folding wall's path, floor mat sensors to detect the presence of a person in the stack area, and a control unit wired to the folding wall control panel, will shut down the operation of the folding wall. Another mechanism provides for the restarting of the folding wall by resetting the relay inside the control panel.

A hinge member includes a rotatable cam element with a first cam face and a slidable cam element with a second cam face associated with the first cam face in such a manner that the second cam face moves away from the first cam face when the slidable cam element is cammed by the rotatable cam element due to an applied external force. A biasing member is connected to the slidable cam element so as to accumulate a returning force when the second cam face moves away from the first cam face and so as to urge the second cam face to move toward the first cam face when the external force ceases to be applied on the rotatable cam element.

In order to be able to easily influence the torque produced by the spring, a spring guide (3) which is loaded by a spring (6), preferably a pressure spring, is provided, said spring guide being fitted with roller (15) that is guided through a curved section (9) of the plug-in part (2).

A window lifter comprises a cable, a window linkage driven by the cable, a fixed device and a cable redirecting device. The cable redirecting device is rotatably mounted on the fixed device and adapted to automatically lock onto the fixed device upon reaching a predetermined angular position. In addition, the cable redirecting device has a cable guiding portion which is not a figure of revolution about the axis of rotation relative to the fixed device. This window lifting mechanism provides a simple structure with few elements. Its assembly is also simple: the cable-redirecting device is rotatably mounted on the fixed device; it is thereafter rotated for tensioning the cable and then locked in a position where the cable is tensioned.

A device for supporting and guiding the movement, in both a longitudinal direction and a lateral direction, of a sliding panel in a frame structure by using guide tracks and vertically adjustable guide castors. The vertical position of the sliding panel is adjustable with the aid of a bogie-based carrying wheel mechanism. A locking mechanism with a specially designed striking plate assists longitudinal and sideways movement of the sliding panel into a locking position for locking of the sliding panel.

The present invention relates to a hinge, in particular for pieces of furniture, with an arm fixable to the body of the piece of furniture, connected to a portion of hinge that oscillates through two equalizers housed on transversal pins, of whichnullin the portion of one of its oscillation axesnullone equalizer exhibits a projecting part forming a lever arm, and with an elastic member that stresses the projecting part of the equalizer so as to cause a thrust in the closing direction on the oscillating hinge portion. In order to obtain the slowed closing of the door, one of the equalizers is provided with a second projecting part on which a second elastic member acts so as to exert a thrust that, for an oscillation portion close to the closed position of the oscillating hinge portion contrasts the thrust exerted by the first elastic member.

In a hinge device, right-hand spiral cams formed on a lower portion of a rotational shaft are engaged with right-hand spiral guides grooves, and left-hand inclinated guide protrusions are engaged with left-hand spiral guide grooves formed on an outer circumference of an elevating pipe. When the elevating pipe moves upwardly or downwardly, the load produced by hydraulic pressure can be applied uniformly to the shaft. Therefore, it is improbable to break out or cut out the spiral cam formed on the shaft, the spiral guide grooves on the elevating pipe and the guide protrusion on the stationary pipe. As a result, the hinge device has a relatively long life-time. Also, the hinge device can reduce or prevent damage in respect of life and property.

An adjustable hinge assembly for swingably joining hinging panel members together, where improved mounting capability is provided, and adjustability of a pin and the hinge components in multiple directions relative to the hinging panels and to each other is provided, where a base member is mounted to a first hinging member and a pin-carrying member is connected to the base, and a base member mounted to a second hinging member and maintains an adjustable pin-receiving component thereon. Stops are provided to regulate the pivot of the members over a predetermined range.
