    Abstract: A combination wristband and label form comprises a top portion and a bottom portion. The top portion has a plurality of labels die cut therein. Each of the labels is configured to be removable from the form. The bottom portion has a wristband configured to receive an indicia, and an outer portion surrounding the wristband. The wristband is separable from the form and is formed of a single ply of water-resistant and tamper-resistant material. The wristband has a first lateral end and a second lateral end. The first lateral end has an adhesive area comprising adhesive adjacent the first lateral end. The second lateral end comprises perforations. The form includes a release liner having a release material. Removal of the wristband from the form exposes a first area of the release liner. The form is configured for multiple passes through a printer after the wristband is removed therefrom.

    Abstract: A process for creating adhesive signage for in-store shelving involves applying a PSA (pressure sensitive adhesive) tape to paper and then printing the signs on the modified substrate. The adhesive strips are 10 mils thick and the paper is 8 mils thick with the tape being positioned on a top portion only of the paper. This creates uneven stack issues in the feeder of the printer that prevents proper feeding of the sheets into the printer. These issues are eliminated by providing taped media imposition that orients the PSA to signage card color bands which are imposed in a mirror image. Mirror imaging of indicia on the card color bands evens out the sheet stack and enhances sheet feeding.

    Abstract: A roll-shaped-composite-linerless label. The roll-shaped-composite-linerless label features good peel property of a linerless label and a thermal transfer ribbon during printing, avoids lacking a part of transferred characters, and further features adhesion to an adherend stronger than conventional labels. A roll-shaped-composite-linerless label includes a long-shaped thermal transfer ribbon and a long-shaped linerless label. The thermal transfer ribbon includes an ink layer on one surface of a film. A back coat agent is applied on another surface. The linerless label includes an adhesive agent layer on one surface of a base material. The linerless label has a print surface on another surface. Ink of the ink layer is transferred to the print surface. The back coat agent contains silicone-based rubber or a mixture of silicone rubber and silicone oil as a main component. The adhesive agent layer is formed by an emulsion-based adhesion. The surface of the thermal transfer ribbon on which the back coat agent has been applied and the adhesive agent layer of the linerless label are stacked and wound into a roll shape.
