    摘要: Systems and methods for improving or suggesting alternatives to content surfing are provided. When it is detected that a user wishes to surf, a pipeline tuning sequence is implemented where by storing one or more frames of a first content selection to the user equipment and acquiring a subsequent content selection while concurrently displaying the previously stored one or more frames. Content suggestions, program listing grids, media guidance application and tuning hints, advertisements, digital audio, and live video may also be presented to user while content surfing. In some embodiments, content surf landing channels may be anticipated based on user history, user profiles, or any other suitable information. In some embodiments, thumbnails of the user's recently tuned, or paused on, content are displayed to the user while content surfing. In multiple tuner systems, more than one thumbnail may be displayed in full motion video.

    摘要: Methods and systems for multi-path video and network channels may comprise a communication device comprising a wideband path (WB) and a narrowband path (NB). A video channel and a network channel may be received in the WB when the device is operating in a first stage. A video channel and a network channel may be received in the WB and the network channel may also be received in the NB when the device is operating in a second stage. The network channel may be received in the NB when the device is operating in a third stage. The reception of the network channel from both the WB and NB may enable a continuous reception of the network channel in a transition between the first and third stages. The WB may be operable to receive a plurality of channels and the NB may be operable to receive a single channel.

    摘要: A filtering system includes a first filtering module, which includes a first frequency translating device and a first filter. The first frequency translating device includes a center frequency control end that receives a first control signal and an input end that receives an input signal, and performs a first frequency translation on the input signal by utilizing a first control frequency of the first control signal as a center frequency. The first filter performs a first filter on the input signal according to equivalent impedance of a circuit coupled to the input end, and generates in collaboration with the first frequency translating device a first filtered input signal at an output end of the filtering system. The equivalent impedance determines a bandwidth of the first filtered input signal.
