    摘要: A fuel injection control system for an internal combustion engine which can eliminate lean misfiring and rich misfiring at asynchronous injection and exhausting of non-combustioned HC. When the asynchronous injection is performed at engine cranking or at acceleration, a judgement is made as to whether the injected fuel will be divided by closure of an intake valve. When division is not detected, fuel injection is performed in normal manner. When division is detected, rate of the fuel division is computed. As a result of computation, fuel injection is performed when judgement is made that a predetermined amount of the injected fuel will be introduced into the cylinder. Furthermore, the amount of fuel not introduced into the cylinder is computed to reduce a corresponding amount from a fuel injection amount for the next cycle. On the other hand, when judgement is made that the predetermined amount of fuel will not be introduced into the cylinder, fuel injection does not take place.

Initially, the workpiece is inductively heated by a HF/MF generator to a first temperature and subsequently heated further by a laser beam with coating material being applied to the region of the laser beam in an amount sufficient to form a surface layer on the workpiece. The generator and the laser source are able to operate simultaneously to effect a high quality surface layer of relatively thin thickness.

    摘要: Valve lifts are measured with a reference engine assembled correctly, at at least two crank angles, and the relationship between the crank angle and the valve lifts is memorized in an arithmetic unit. Thereafter, the crank shaft of an engine, the valve actuating system of which is to be examined, is indexed at the above-mentioned crank angles in the assembled state of the engine, and the valve lifts are measured at these crank angles. The measured data are delivered to the arithmetic unit which performs an arithmetic operation to determine whether there is any abnormality in the valve actuating system and to make the display of the result of the determination.

THIS SAME VACUUM IS USED TO SEAT THE HEAD OF THE VALVE AND TO HOLD THE DEVICE IN ENGAGEMENT WITH AN APPROPRIATE PART OF THE ENGINE. THUS, IT IS NOT NECESSARY TO COMPLETELY INSTALL THE VALVE, AS IN THE CASE OF A DEVICE REQUIRING THE PRESENCE OF THE VALVE SPRING TO HOLD THE HEAD OF THE VALVE ON ITS SEAT.
