摘要: A solid-state battery includes an electrode assembly including a plurality of unit stacked bodies arranged in a stacking direction, and a laminate film that seals the electrode assembly. Each of the plurality of unit stacked bodies includes a positive electrode layer, a negative electrode layer, a solid electrolyte layer, and an insulating layer. A thickness of the insulating layer of the unit stacked body disposed on one end surface side of the electrode assembly is greater than a thickness of the insulating layer of the unit stacked body provided on the central side of the electrode assembly.

The groove helps discharge a pressure from the housing, and the protective layer can prevent the housing from being accidentally broken. This application further provides a battery to which the housing is applied, and an electronic apparatus to which the battery is applied.

摘要: A battery capable of changing its form safely is provided. A bendable battery having a larger thickness is provided. A battery with increased capacity is provided. For an exterior body of the battery, a film in the shape of a periodic wave in one direction is used. A space is provided in an area surrounded by the exterior body and between an end portion of the electrode stack that is not fixed and an interior wall of the exterior body. Furthermore, the phases of waves of a pair of portions of the exterior body between which the electrode stack is located are different from each other. In particular, the phases are different from each other by 180 degrees so that wave crest lines overlap with each other and wave trough lines overlap with each other.

摘要: A surface-treated steel sheet for a battery container, including a steel sheet, an iron-nickel diffusion layer formed on the steel sheet, and a nickel layer formed on the iron-nickel diffusion layer and constituting the outermost layer, wherein when the Fe intensity and the Ni intensity are continuously measured from the surface of the surface-treated steel sheet for a battery container along the depth direction with a high frequency glow discharge optical emission spectrometric analyzer, the thickness of the iron-nickel diffusion layer being the difference between the depth at which the Fe intensity exhibits a first predetermined value and the depth at which the Ni intensity exhibits a second predetermined value is 0.04 to 0.31 μm; and the total amount of the nickel contained in the iron-nickel diffusion layer and the nickel contained in the nickel layer is 4.4 g/m2 or more and less than 10.8 g/m2.

摘要: A forming device is configured to form metal laminated sheet material into a tray-shaped case half while allowing the material to form pleats in the corners of the recess during the forming process while preventing formation of pleats along the flange. The device forms the flange so that excess material in the corners of the case halves is arranged in an undulating shape. As a result, the flange has a waved or ruffled configuration at each corner. Two such case halves are sealed together along the flange to form a reliably sealed package. A method of forming pouch cell is also described.

摘要: Electrochemical cells and methods of making electrochemical cells are described herein. In some embodiments, an apparatus includes a multi-layer sheet for encasing an electrode material for an electrochemical cell. The multi-layer sheet including an outer layer, an intermediate layer that includes a conductive substrate, and an inner layer disposed on a portion of the conductive substrate. The intermediate layer is disposed between the outer layer and the inner layer. The inner layer defines an opening through which a conductive region of the intermediate layer is exposed such that the electrode material can be electrically connected to the conductive region. Thus, the intermediate layer can serve as a current collector for the electrochemical cell.
