摘要: A method and an apparatus for identifying faults in a computer-aided manner for a technical system including a switch and a switch drive is provided. A fault or a disruption in the switch and/or in the switch drive is detected by capturing a temporal profile of a measurement variable of the switch drive. A simulation model is provided for the technical system and a fault situation is set by means of setting values of the simulation model, wherein the setting values are assigned to the fault situation. The technical system is simulated by means of the simulation model, wherein a simulated temporal profile of the measurement variable is captured. The simulated temporal profile is compared with the temporal profile of the measurement variable of the switch drive, wherein the fault situation is assigned to the detected fault on the basis of the comparison.

摘要: A rail vehicle including a wheel assembly having wheels configured to traverse rails of a railroad track, a controller having a processor in communication with the wheel assembly, and a non-transitory computer readable medium, disposed on the vehicle, and containing instructions, which, cause the following steps in real-time as the vehicle traverses the rails: determine a rail pressure of the wheels on the rails, determine a degree of curvature of the rails as the vehicle moves along the railroad track, determine a minimum rail pressure of the wheels on the rails based on the degree of curvature, determine if the rail pressure is equal to or greater than the minimum rail pressure and adjust the rail pressure of the wheels on the rails to be the minimum rail pressure when the rail pressure is less than the minimum rail pressure to maintain stability of the vehicle on the railroad track.

摘要: The present invention defines a method of determining a vertical profile signal of a rail surface that includes, obtaining a vertical acceleration signal acc1, by measuring vertical acceleration of a bogie of a rail vehicle that runs on the rail surface; processing the vertical acceleration signal to obtain a vertical velocity signal; determining the vertical profile signal of the rail surface, by using the vertical acceleration signal and the vertical velocity signal as inputs to a simulation model of the bogie, the model having an unsprung mass connected to a sprung mass, the vertical acceleration signal acc1 represents the vertical acceleration of the unsprung mass; and measuring a linear velocity signal of the rail vehicle, the linear velocity signal is used in the step of determining to convert the vertical profile signal from the time domain to the distance domain.

摘要: An apparatus and method for applying lubricant to a rail road track. The apparatus comprising a control module; a housing; a lubricant distribution block; and a plurality of tubes for connecting the control module to the housing wherein the housing houses the lubricant distribution block. The control module is positionable in close proximity to the rail road track and the housing is positionable adjacent to and along a section of rail road track to be lubricated. The lubricant is stored in a vessel in the control module and pumped from the control module to a lubricant distribution nozzle connected to the housing and wherein sliding the lubricant distribution nozzle along the section of rail road track in a first or second direction distributes lubricant along the section of rail road track.

摘要: A gauge-face lubrication assembly and related methods of use in which a removable and replacable applicator member is positioned proximate a gauge-face for lubrication of a rail member. Generally, the replaceable applicator member can be molded of a resilient polymeric material having shaped-memory properties. The replaceable applicator member includes one or more molded lubricant channels for delivering lubricant supplied by a lubrication system to the gauge-face. Each molded lubricant channel can include a molded seal for sealably engaging a lubrication bracket that retains the applicator member in position against the gauge-face. The removable applicator member can further include a liner for physically engaging the gauge-face and protecting removable applicator member. The applicator member can include a coupling portion that insertably interfaces with a bracket channel defined in the lubrication bracket, whereby the applicator member can be removed and replaced in the event of damage or wear.

摘要: An amount of wear of a railroad vehicle wheel flange online while traveling in a curved section is directly measured. A laser rangefinder 3 is installed on an outer track side in a rounded curve section of a railroad track. When a railroad vehicle travels through the rounded curve section, the laser rangefinder 3 measures a distance to a front rim surface of a wheel on an outer track side of a wheelset in a forward direction of travel of a bogie forming a vehicle. The amount of wheel flange wear is obtained by comparing this measured distance with a previous measurement of the measured distance. It is then possible to control the amount of wheel flange wear when traveling in a curved section, thus making it possible to quickly find wheels having flange wear that has exceeded a control range and ensure safety during travel of the railroad vehicle.

摘要: A lifting device for lifting a rail car includes a frame with a load plate movably disposed thereon and a back plate movably disposed on the frame and coupled to the load plate. The lifting device further includes a first actuator disposed on the frame and operatively coupled to the back plate and at least one second actuator operatively coupled to the load plate such that the first actuator and the at least one second actuator produce forces in first and second directions. Further still, the first actuator and the at least one second actuator move the load plate of the lifting device in a substantially vertical direction.
