摘要: A hydrogel coating composition for a chemical sensor includes a photo-crosslinkable monomer containing a cationic functional group; a pH indicator dye; a viscosity modifier; and a solvent. The hydrogel coating composition for a chemical sensor can be used for identifying freshness of foods by detecting volatile basic nitrogen or toxic chemicals generated when food spoils, such as ammonia, hydrogen sulfide, etc., and can be coated in desired patterns on a substrate. A chemical sensor fabricated from the hydrogel coating composition is designed to fix a pH indicator dye through an ionic bond to prevent the detachment of the indicator dye. Therefore, the chemical sensor exhibits excellent color reproducibility and has stability as a sensor.

摘要: A method of forming a colorant having a desired hue comprises mixing a component of a Huito fruit with an amino acid, thus forming a reaction mixture wherein the component of Huito fruit reacts with the amino acid and produces a blue color, and adjusting the hue of the blue color by adjusting the amount of oxygen present during reaction of the component of Huito fruit and the amino acid. The method may comprise adjusting a temperature of the mixing and/or other processing parameters.

摘要: The purpose of the present invention is to provide: a gardenia blue pigment which contains a product of a reaction between genipin and a compound having a primary amino group, and which offers a bright, fresh blue color tone having reduced redness; and a method for producing same. This gardenia blue pigment, which offers a bright, fresh blue color tone having reduced redness, is obtained by carrying out a first step in which genipin and at least one peptide selected from the group consisting of soybean peptides, sesame peptides, and rice peptides are reacted in a solvent without supplying an oxygen-containing gas, and a second step in which a reaction liquid obtained in the first step is processed under an oxygen-containing gas supply.

摘要: An optical filter includes: an absorption layer including a first near-infrared absorbing dye (D1), a second near-infrared absorbing dye (D2), and a transparent resin; and a reflection layer including a dielectric multilayer film. The dye (D1) and the dye (D2) are squarylium compounds satisfying following (1) to (3). (1) The dye (D1) has a maximum absorption wavelength λmax(D1) within a range of 680 to 730 nm, and the difference between a wavelength at which a transmittance is 80% on the shorter wavelength side than λmax(D1) when the concentration is adjusted such that a transmittance at λmax(D1) is 10%, and λmax(D1) is 100 nm or less. (2) The dye (D2) has a maximum absorption wavelength λmax(D2) within a range of 720 to 770 nm. (3) A value obtained by subtracting λmax(D1) from λmax(D2) is 30 nm or more and 85 nm or less.
