摘要: Methods for assessing a skin surface of a patient and associated systems and devices are described herein. A method configured in accordance with embodiments of the present technology can include, for example, receiving a three-dimensional data set representative of the patient's skin surface and determining a boundary of a feature of the patient's skin in the three-dimensional data set. The method can further include determining, with a processor, a three-dimensional surface area of the feature within the boundary. In some embodiments, the method can also include identifying a plurality of sub-regions within the boundary and identifying one or more tissue types in each sub-region.

摘要: Devices, systems and methods for assessing anatomical surface features are described herein. In some embodiments, a method of assessing a surface feature on a patient's skin surface includes (i) capturing one or more data sets from a patient's skin surface including the skin surface feature, and (ii) determining outline data of the skin surface feature based on at least one of the one or more data sets. The method can further include determining one or more confidence attributes associated with the determined outline data.

摘要: Methods of assessing features on a skin surface of a patient, and associated systems and devices, are disclosed herein. In one embodiment, a method of assessing a feature on a patients skin surface includes capturing (i) an image of the patient's skin surface with a camera of a portable capture device and (ii) range information with an auxiliary range measurement device that is attached to the portable capture device. Based on the range information, a single range value can be determined between the capture device and the patient's skin surface. In some embodiments, a scale can be associated with the image based on the single range value.

摘要: Dimensions of a surface feature are determined by capturing an image of the surface feature and determining a scale associated with the image. Structured light may be projected onto the surface, such that the position of structured light in the captured image allows determination of scale. A non-planar surface may be unwrapped. The surface may alternatively be projected into a plane to correct for the scene being tilted with respect to the camera axis. A border of the surface feature may be input manually by a user. An apparatus and system for implementing the method are also disclosed.
