摘要： A CVT pulley includes a shaft having disposed thereon, a first and second sheave, and a spider. A spring biases the sheaves away from one another. The axially moveable second sheave is disposed axially between the axially fixed spider and the first sheave. A plurality of centrifugal weights, connected to either the spider or the second sheave, have a portion that moves radially outward with rotation of the shaft. The axial distance between the spider and the second sheave depends at least in part on the radial position of the portion which depends on the rotational speed. At least one cylinder is adapted to receive fluid. At least one piston, rotatable with the shaft, is adapted to move in the at least one cylinder in response to fluid being received therein, thereby selectively exerting force on one of the sheaves towards the other. CVTs and vehicles are also disclosed.

摘要： A method of detecting misfire in an internal combustion engine comprises: sensing a temporal signature of a lateral displacement of the engine, performing a spectral analysis of the temporal signature of the lateral displacement to extract a magnitude of a predetermined frequency, and determining that misfiring in at least one of the plurality of cylinders has occurred based on the magnitude of the predetermined frequency. The predetermined frequency is associated with one of a plurality of orders of the engine. The one of the plurality of orders is representative of engine displacement due to in-cylinder pressures. Other methods of detecting misfire and a vehicle are also presented.

The shifting sleeves are actuated by two shift forks. Each shift fork is moved by a corresponding shift drum. The shift drums are disposed on a shift drum shaft. By rotating the shift drum shaft, each of the at least three transmission gears can be engaged in sequence. The two shift drums are spring biased.

摘要： An internal combustion engine has a crankcase, a crankshaft, a cylinder block, and cylinder head assembly. The cylinder block has at least one cylinder. At least one piston is disposed in the at least one cylinder. The at least one piston is operatively connected to the crankshaft. An oil tank enclosure is connected to at least one of the crankcase outer wall and the cylinder block outer wall. The oil tank enclosure and the at least one of the crankcase outer wall and the cylinder block outer wall together form an oil tank. The arrangement of the oil inlet, oil outlet, and blow-by gas outlet in an oil tank; an oil tank having an angled portion for separating blow-by gases from oil; and an arrangement of a blow-by gas passage connected to an oil tank are also described.

The shifting sleeve comprises at least one tooth for selectively engaging the at least one opening defined in the transmission gear. The first portion has a top surface disposed at a first height and the second portion has a top surface disposed at a second height, the first height being greater than the second height. A vehicle having the drivetrain is also disclosed. A method of starting an internal combustion engine in a hybrid vehicle is also disclosed.
