    摘要: An object of the present invention is to provide an asenapine-containing patch having excellent sustained-release properties while enhancing skin permeability by using a silicone-based pressure-sensitive adhesive base. The present invention relates to a patch having a support and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, wherein the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer comprises asenapine and/or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, a silicone-based pressure-sensitive adhesive base and a release control agent, and the ratio of the maximum skin permeation rate of asenapine to the minimum skin permeation rate from the time when the maximum skin permeation rate is reached to 24 hours is less than 1.62.

    摘要: A method for reducing skin sensitization of an asenapine-containing patch comprising a backing layer and an adhesive agent layer, the method comprising: using an adhesive agent for preparing the adhesive agent layer, the adhesive agent containing free asenapine in a range of 2 to 5% by mass, styrene-isoprene-styrene block copolymer (SIS) in a range of 7 to 18% by mass, polyisobutylene (PIB) in a range of 0.5 to 10% by mass, alicyclic saturated hydrocarbon resin in a range of 30 to 70% by mass, and liquid paraffin in a range of 5 to 10% by mass, relative to a total amount of the adhesive agent; and preparing the asenapine-containing patch whose average cumulative amount of skin permeation of asenapine (24 hours) after applying the asenapine-containing patch to skin of a dorsal scapular region of a 5-week-old Hartley white female guinea pig and holding the asenapine-containing patch with an occlusive dressing for 24 hours is in a range of 90 to 300 μg/cm2 in terms of free form.

    摘要: An applicator of one embodiment is for applying a sheet member to skin. The applicator includes: a body including a bottom plate configured to face the skin and a bending portion provided to the bottom plate; a cap being movable along a slide direction substantially orthogonal to the bottom plate; and an elastic member configured to extend along the slide direction between the body and the cap. The elastic member applies, to the cap, elastic force that acts in a direction away from the bottom plate, the cap being movable toward the bottom plate against the elastic force. The bending portion bends the sheet member that has advanced thereto in a pressed state in which the cap has been moved toward the bottom plate, thereby applying the sheet member to the skin.
