Upon relocation of the mobile terminal to a second node the method includes: if, and only if, said key management capabilities indicate an enhanced key management capability supported by the mobile terminal, modifying, by said first node, the first key, thereby creating a second key; sending, from the first node to the second node, the second key; and transmitting to the second node the information about the key management capabilities of the mobile terminal.

In some embodiments, a method of operation of a network node includes calculating an actual RE efficiency based at least in part on an actual TBS obtained from a specification. The TBS may be obtained from a specification based on LA result and actual buffer data volume. The method also includes determining a real BLER from a searchable repository, based on the actual RE efficiency and an actual BLER. The method may further include calculating an actual outer-loop adjustment (OLA) step based on the actual BLER. The method may further include a dynamic outer-loop up/down step adjustment based on the actual OLA step.

    摘要: Methods and devices in a wireless communication system are provided, in which a first portion and a second portion of signals are transmitted on a physical channel to a first transceiver from a second transceiver. A method for controlling transmission parameters in the wireless communication system comprises the steps of: transmitting an indication indicating that the first and the second receiver processing algorithms are used in the first transceiver to process the first and second portions, respectively, of signals received on the physical channel; receiving the indication at the second transceiver; and adjusting, at the second transceiver in response to the indication, a transmission parameter for at least one of the first and second portions of signals to be transmitted on the physical channel to the first transceiver. The indication could be transmitted from the first transceiver, or it could be determined through evaluations carried out at the second transceiver.

    摘要: In a method and a device for partial encryption and progressive transmission of images, a first section of the image file is compressed at reduced quality without decryption, and a second section of the image file is encrypted. Users having access to appropriate decryption keywords can decrypt this second section. The first section together with the decrypted second section can then be viewed as a full quality image. The storage space required for storing the first and section together is essentially the same as the storage space required for storing the unencrypted full quality image. By using the method and device as described herein storage and bandwidth requirements for partially encrypted images is reduced. Furthermore, object based composition and processing of encrypted objects are facilitated, and ROIs can be encrypted. Also, the shape of a ROI can be encrypted and the original object can be decrypted and restored in the compressed domain.
