The second conductive region includes a body conductive region and two hand conductive regions elongated from both ends of the body conductive region to form an LI-shape. The amorphous-silicon TFT and the shift register having the amorphous TFT reduce a parasitic capacitance between the gate electrode and drain electrode.

Methods and systems for generating and imaging THz electromagnetic radiation using a composite dipole array made up of novel structures of non-linear dipole strings with dual frequency resonances for frequency up conversion and frequency down conversion are disclosed. THz electromagnetic radiation resulting from the frequency down conversion process can be used as an illumination source for imaging, as a carrier for communications, or as an energy source for spectroscopy, for example. Optical electromagnetic radiation resulting from the frequency up conversion process can be used to form images from THz electromagnetic radiation for contraband detection, guidance systems, and medical applications, for example.

The peripheral area comprises a plurality of gate driving integrated circuit regions, a plurality of data driving integrated circuit regions, a plurality of repair lines disposed along the edge of the panel, connecting pads connected to both ends of the repair lines, a test line connected to at least one connecting pad, and a test pad connected to the test line. A test method for detecting disconnection of the data lines is also provided.

A method and system for aligning a spatial light modulator with respect to an imaging device is disclosed. An image of the spatial light modulator can be formed upon the imaging device and a controller can be used to position optical elements in a manner that effects translation, rotation, and scaling of the image so as to provide desired alignment. Such alignment can, for example, facilitate enhanced wavefront correction so as to at least partially compensate for the detrimental effects of atmospheric distortion in such applications as optical communications, imaging, and weaponry.

In a first stage of the cosmetic treatment, the current controller performs a constant current control operation. In this operation, the current flowing to the lamp does not vary with variations of the capacitor voltage. In the end stage of the treatment, the current is lower, and it decreases with the capacitor voltage.
