摘要： Disclosed are small molecules capable of activating the type I interferon (IFN) response by way of the transcription factor IFN regulatory factor 3 (IRF3) were identified. A high throughput in vitro screen yielded 4-(2-chloro-6-fluorobenzyl)-N-(furan-2-ylmethyl)-3-oxo-3,4-dihydro-2H-benzo[b][1,4]thiazine-6-carboxamide (referred to herein as G10), which was found to trigger IRF3/IFN-associated transcription in human fibroblasts. To define cellular proteins essential to elicitation of the antiviral activity by the compound a reverse genetics approach that utilized genome editing via CRISPR/Cas9 technology was employed. This allowed the identification of IRF3, the IRF3-activating adaptor molecule STING, and the IFN-associated transcription factor STAT1 as required for observed gene induction and antiviral effects.

For example, the system may include a rail attachable to the interior surface of the cargo box inner panel, at least one reinforcement plate positionable against the outer surface of the inner panel, and a plurality of fasteners for holding the rail to the inner panel backed by the reinforcement plate. The rail may have a rail portion and a body portion. The body portion is positioned through a slot formed in the bedliner and includes a base and a pair of opposed side walls connecting the base with the rail portion. Each reinforcement plate has apertures to accommodate multiple mechanical fasteners and reinforcement segments, which are attached by reinforcement segment bridges.

摘要： An improved method and apparatus for processing video data is provided. A video subsystem generates first and second fields of video image data. First fields of video image data need not be sent over a common bus, but instead can be sent over a port connection (such as the Zoom Video port connection) to the graphics subsystem for display. Second fields of video image data can be sent over the bus to a processor subsystem for compression and eventual transmission to a remote user via a modem or the like. Because the video subsystem generates first and second fields of video image data (e.g., an even and odd field for each frame), the video image data for local display need not be sent over the bus to the processor subsystem and need not be converted by the processor subsystem. This results in a savings in bus usage and processor execution needs.

摘要： Optical assemblies of the type supported on an optical bench and comprising a one or more components such as lasers, lenses, filters, isolators and waveguides, are sensitive to movement variation. One of the causes of movement is temperature tracking. Previously, thermo-electric coolers have been used to maintain the top-surface temperature of an optical bench within a certain range. However, although thermo-electric coolers are operable to maintain optical bench temperature they are themselves still sensitive to temperature tracking and can deform. Because an optical bench is typically supported on the top surface of a thermo-electric cooler this leads to deformation of the optical bench itself and as a result performance of the optical assembly is affected. An improved design of thermo-electric cooler is described where the top surface of the cooler is divided into separate regions, each having a neutral region in which deformation is minimal. A thermally conductive sheet is placed over each of these regions such that only one temperature monitor is required. Optical components are then supported over the thermally conductive sheet in the neutral regions.

摘要： A cargo management system for a vehicle having a cargo area such as a pickup bed is disclosed. The system includes a rail attachable to the interior surface of the cargo box inner panel, at least one reinforcement plate positionable against the outer surface of the inner panel, and a plurality of fasteners for holding the rail to the inner panel backed by the reinforcement plate. At least one cleat is fitted to the rail. The cleat can be moved and selectively positioned on the rail. The rail has a rail portion and a body portion. The body portion is positioned through a slot formed in the bedliner. The body portion of the rail includes a base and a pair of opposed side walls connecting the base with the rail portion. The body portion of the rail may include one or more interior walls between the base wall of the body portion and the rail portion. Each reinforcement plate has apertures to accommodate multiple mechanical fasteners, thus eliminating the multiple reinforcement plates of the known technology. Each reinforcement plate includes a plurality of reinforcement segments and reinforcement segment bridges. Each reinforcement segment is attached to an adjacent reinforcement segment by a reinforcement segment bridge.
