    摘要: A generic mobile synchronization framework facilitates synchronization of data objects between platforms by comparing these data objects from one platform with a replica of data objects on the other platform. Generic messages identifying the differences in the data objects are converted into an adapted message suitable for use by the underlying synchronization hardware and sent to the platform needing synchronization. That platform converts adapted message to the corresponding original generic messages, and executes them, synchronizing the data objects in that platform with the originating platform.

According to one embodiment, recovering a failed instance can comprise processing existing summarization instances identified as instances for which a new data summarization instance needs to wait. Upon a completion or a timeout of each of the instances identified as instances for which the new data summarization instance needs to wait, an exclusive lock can be acquired on a table storing scope information for the plurality of data summarization instances. One or more existing data summarization instances that match the new data summarization instance or that have an overlapping scope with the new data summarization instance can be processed, remaining tasks to be performed by the new data summarization instance can be defined, the exclusive lock can be released, and the remaining tasks to be performed by the new data summarization instance can be performed.

    摘要: A method and apparatus for power control of the re-transmission data packet in a wireless communication system is disclosed. A first wireless communication device is provided that receives (210) a data packet from a second wireless communication device and determines (220) if the data packet is correctly decoded. If the data packet is not correctly decoded, the first wireless communication device calculates (230) a first re-transmission power required for correctly decoding the data packet based on a signal to noise ratio (Eb/No) versus frame error rate (FER) relationship. And further calculates a power difference (240) between the calculated re-transmission power and the power of the received data packet and transmits the power difference (250) to the second wireless communication device. The second wireless communication device calculates (340) a second re-transmission power based on the received power difference and re-transmits (350) the data packet at the calculated re-transmission power.
